Vines Cafe — Restaurant in England

The breakfast we had here was one of the best we've ever had. Although on first looks the prices seem on the higher side, don't let that put you off, the price you pay is well worth it for what you get. The quality of the produce and meats was awesome, all the items were really well prepared/cooked and the quantity of the large breakfast was more than enough to fill us both up until dinner time. Another great thing... The beans come in their own little dish, so the bean sauce doesn't go over everything else on your plate. The tea we had came in a large mug and was also very tasty and brewed well, and all the other drinks I saw going out to other tables looked really nice and generously portioned too. The toasted teacake being enjoyed on one of the neighboring tables was huge and looked delicious. The other thing which made visiting here so enjoyable was how lovely and happy all the people who work here are. From the second you walk in you're made to feel welcome and service was excellent. I would Strongly advise against anyone coming to this Café. The manager's are extremely incompetent at their jobs. The last time I was here I watched one of the managers screaming at the staff member for a small mistake. I feel genuinely sorry for the young people who work there, just trying to do their jobs with such disgusting management. I'm sure one of the 17 year old girls working there for minimum wage could run this place better!!! Not to mention the food which is absolutely vile. From what I've witnessed about the managers this was no suprise as the food here is definitely NOT cooked with love but with gross incompetence. I would rate this place 0 Stars if I could. Exceptionally overpriced menu and when commenting on this, the pink-haired owner was overly defensive stating they had to make money after lockdown! What? By ripping off people! 1 x cheese toasted sandwich at £5.75!!! Naturally, did not order. Arrogant attitude and unhygienic. Owner and 1 helper not wearing masks or gloves.
