Wow!! What a wonderful surprise on the A264 !! Attracted by the bright yellow flags advertising ice cream and modernised traditional animal barn with encouraging carparking we stopped to explore what was on offer!! A delightful ice cream parlour and tea room with friendly knowledgeable staff, a wide choice of flavours with cornets and tubs and a selection of cream tea alternatives. We chose rhubarb and custard flavour and elderflower and gooseberry!! Not ever before found but tasted delicious)) A bonus was to speak with Mrs Harrison and hear all about how she set up the business and runs it now. With milk from the family farm up the hillside to tasty ice cream in the customers hands, this shows what the innovative Yorkshire spirit is capable of. So stop by and indulge yourselves when you pass !!

Don’t be fooled by the fact it doesn’t shout ‘Cafe’ from the road, it’s called in-keeping with the environment! We called here after a road diversion and generally bimbling our way home from Richmond. What a great little find, not overly signposted due to being in The Dales and just a short walk from the car park, you’ll find this tastefully restored Cowhouse which happens to serve great coffee, great cake (we had carrot), local Ice Creams, Soups etc. Also some great local art / craft gifts are available. Really friendly staff, had a great chat with the owner about the building local food etc…and life in The Dales. Brilliant.

Had a lovely ice cream here a few years ago and stopped in again as we were going past. Unfortunately you can't try flavours which is a shame. I understand if it's busy and there's a queue but there was no-one behind us at all, and I just wanted to try and decide between two flavours. On the plus side, I got a single scoop of the pear ice cream which was really lovely. Big portion for the price, and really creamy with pieces of pear in, and a really good flavour. Will be back!

Oh my!

My partner is disabled. We tend to drive somewhere with a view, buy coffee and drink it in the car. For us, it's easier that way. However, we will definitely be walking the short distance to the parlour on our next visit.

Not only will we be able to sit indoors or out, enjoying the amazing views and experiencing the welcoming atmosphere, we'll also be sure of a great meal in modern comfortable surroundings.

Now this is an ice cream parlour and coffee shop. Don't expect Michelin star scran. DO expect decent well prepared food and truly outstanding ice cream served in a clean, bright, airy environment by friendly, practical people who've clearly thought very hard about doing what they do very well.

Very very Yorkshire in all...

Don't really know where to start with this one hygiene leaves a lot to be desired picking up glasses by the rim with fingers inside where people put their mouths wiping and tucking hair back not once washing hands nor wearing gloves to serve wiping her face quite off putting as its food and in a pandemic when handling cornets to serve this was the young girl serving. The older guy seemed to practice the same mask neither on nor off constantly touching it then putting fingers inside of glasses to transfer them to the tray with bottles take outside maybe should have a ride over to Brymoor to observe their hygiene standards very...
