Wow!! What a wonderful surprise on the A264 !! Attracted by the bright yellow flags advertising ice cream and modernised traditional animal barn with encouraging carparking we stopped to explore what was on offer!! A delightful ice cream parlour and tea room with friendly knowledgeable staff, a wide choice of flavours with cornets and tubs and a selection of cream tea alternatives. We chose rhubarb and custard flavour and elderflower and gooseberry!! Not ever before found but tasted delicious)) A bonus was to speak with Mrs Harrison and hear all about how she set up the business and runs it now. With milk from the family farm up the hillside to tasty ice cream in the customers hands, this shows what the innovative Yorkshire spirit is capable of. So stop by and indulge yourselves...

My partner is disabled. We tend to drive somewhere with a view, buy coffee and drink it in the car. For us, it's easier that way. However, we will definitely be walking the short distance to the parlour on our next visit.
Not only will we be able to sit indoors or out, enjoying the amazing views and experiencing the welcoming atmosphere, we'll also be sure of a great meal in modern comfortable surroundings.
Now this is an ice cream parlour and coffee shop. Don't expect Michelin star scran. DO expect decent well prepared food and truly outstanding ice cream served in a clean, bright, airy environment by friendly, practical people who've clearly thought very hard about doing what they do very well.
