This is my local, we’ve been coming here for many years but the meal we had here the other month was below the usual standard. It’s such a shame as the food was really good for many years! I had the steak combi (which I always have) but my god, the amount of salt in the peppercorn sauce and on the steak was overpowering. It wasn’t what it used to be at all, the steak was a little chewy as well. My husband had steak also but again couldn’t eat it all it was far too salty, my husband who likes lots a Salt agreed that there’s was far too much over seasoning. What a shame 😔 I hope to come back and try it again one day as you should always support local. Staff are always nice and friendly and it’s a nice atmosphere….. please please tone down the seasoning, bring it back to...

Were staying nearby in Gt Limber and decided to book lunch for 15 of us at the Yarborough Arms. Pre-picked our meals from the extensive menu and paid a deposit. Table was ready and waiting for us and we were all able to sit together. Couldn't fault the food or the service, both the members of staff looking after us were attentive and all our meals arrived together, nicely presented and piping hot - this is something which so many venues seem to struggle to cope with when serving a bigger group. The food itself was delicious with us all choosing different things - particular mention for the Desperate Dan pie, which our Dad said was the best pie he'd ever eaten (and at 79 he's sampled a few over the years!). Highly recommended for proper pub food done well....

Went for a lunch today with a friend . I had fish chips and peas. The fish was lovely but spoilt by appalling rock hard over fried or re-fried chips. When i complained i was told "it was the potatoes it often happens this time of year" the potatoes didn't cook themselves, the quality controll was lacking. All in all a good meal let down and spoilt. I might add to the owners reply yes i was offered a replacement bowl of chips but as i said to the waiter who was attending another table at the time there was no point as i was over halfway through eating my fish, I should have complained after tasting the first chip and not awaited the waiter enquiry over halfway through the meal.plus i wouldnt want...

As I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and warm welcome. The interior is very clean and well maintained with very relaxing music playing at a respectable level. I hadn't pre booked but they seated me straight away in the lounge. The order was taken and the food arrived prompt and of great quality. Very hot and lots of it. I was staying at the Ulceby lodge B&B and although the weather was rather damp, it was a lovely walk. (About 1 mile). I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.

First visit and will certainly be coming back. The staff were very attentive and friendly, wide choice of options on the menu. We had the crispy chicken strips in sweet chilli sauce for starter which tasted amazing followed by the Yarborough steak burger. This was one of the best burgers I’ve tasted. Everything was home made and the presentation was good too. Very impressed! Thank you

Did a quick Google search for a lunch nearby and the Yarborough Arms reviews looked very good. And the reviews are correct and the food was delicious. Staff super welcoming and friendly. Doom Bar beer perfect. I had the Smokie with a perfectly cooked poached egg that oooooosed over the smoked fish when cut into 😀😃 My wife had a huge portion for a delicious pie with mash and veg.
