Vojan Restaurant — Restaurant in Epping Forest

Okay so firstly the food was really nice (curry’s) however the Bombay potato was still very raw, hard and barely any flavour at all which was sad as I love that stuff. The staff were sweet, the atmosphere was very bright in there, very white walls, just felt cold in there. The white cloths was annoying as they got dirty straight away and it stuck out loads make me feel like I’ve just sat down and made everything dirty. And as for the music, what the hell! Clubbing dance music whilst I’m eating a curry? That was a massive no no for me. I did not feel relaxed and calm eating, I felt like I wanted to get up and dance. It was not good at all didn’t like it and defo made us rush eating our food and want to leave. The music was definitely a massive put off I know we’re in Essex but come on. So cos of this not sure if I’ll be going there again. Happy parking was right...

Well this is the first and last order from this restaurant, and the only reason they get two stars Is for the delivery guy, order turned up early and the bloke Had a sense of humour and was polite. Now the food........ The poppadoms wer stale to the point of chewy, and the rice tasted like it was cooked in mildew. We also had the Naga lamb and even over the spices it tasted...rancid? Not what I expected from a restaurant with such good reviews....... How can you read that I was frustrated with the delivery driver?, He was the only good point about the whole review 🤦🏻‍♂️ I'll take off another...

I used to eat in and also order home deliveries regular from the Vojan. Sadly I was let down by them on the last takeaway I ordered, I was lied to 3 times when I chased the time of an order I placed, I was told each time it would be 10 mins, half an hour delivery time turned in to 1.5 hours. The food delivered was cold and of poor quality and we ended up throwing it away. Spoke to the Manager on duty and as we paid cash he informed us he would personally post a refund through our door, this never happened. Very poor. We have now found Ongar has other better Indian...
