Waitress wasn’t very friendly, swiftly moved away from us. She asked everyone else around how their food was, but skipped over my partner and I. Both him and I ordered lasagne. When served, we opened up the lasagne and saw no pasta sheets and massive clumps of meat congealed with cheese. The “salad” was just rocket and coleslaw with a wedge of tomato. At no stage did a member of staff approach us, removing the opportunity to resolve this. When clearing the plates, we were met with the sever grunting “anything else” and she quickly walked off. It appeared local customers were given far preferable treatment. Prices weren’t bad but the food was poor at best. Male toilets didn’t lock. Seating that close we could hear everyone’s conversations....

We're regular visitors, however, today it was different. Usually the staff are friendly and welcoming, but when we entered it was dark and we couldn't tell whether the place was even open. We were then met by a member of staff, who we asked if they were serving food, just to be answered with a rude, snarky comment. Not only the quality but also the quantity of food was shocking. My aunt and I ordered the beef lasagna and it was essentially a bowl of tomato pasata with a few clumps of mince. The side of chips had about 5 chips in it. We all left still hungry. Not pleased whatsoever. We are questioning whether there has been a change in chef, as the food they are now serving is substandard to the food they...

My husband, daughter, her partner and myself called here after a Motorsport event in the vicinity, after ordering, we were told of a delay due to the number of people who had also called in after the event, we ordered, gammon n chips, 2x chicken goujons and a fish n chips, when out food arrived, it was absoultely lovely, tasty, fresh, well presented, good portions, the proprietor Gary wasnt afraid to get stuck in and help with the service and clearing up and spoke to ALL the customers in his dining room, which I thought was a lovely gesture, I would strongly recommend a visit to the Mayfly if in the area, I assure you, you won't be...

This place is just phenomenal! I was on holiday from Glasgow and was passing through Kesh on way to see relatives. From the outside it looks relatively small, but looks can be deceiving, and they were! Inside it’s spacious and inviting. The staff are warm and friendly......and the FOOD!! Wow just wow! Not only was I blown away by my own food when it arrived, but I watched other dishes come to other tables and was just as impressed! The quality and quantity for the price is amazing! Top marks to the chef and staff here! It’s a little hidden gem of a place that I’d recommend a million times over! I’ll most definitely be back! 👍

A great atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. We based ourselves in Kesh while doing a boat trip for the week and ate in there 3 times. The first night they were very busy and the service was slow, we expected that and the food was worth the wait. The other 2 nights service was much quicker. The quality of the food was very consistent. We got to know a few if the staff, Grace, Shirley, Adrian and the not so hairy boy Gary. Thank you for providing wonderful food, service and banter, it really made the holiday.

Good traditional food selection, including a couple of basic veggie choices. Service was fast and friendly. Our dogs could come in while we ate in the bar, which was great as it was a hot day and we would have had to get a takeaway or something as we wouldn’t have left them in the car. Will definitely be back with family in the summer as there is plenty of space and it’s handy for going to and from Donegal/Fermanagh
