"Laid back and relaxed in everything it does, the Sperrin Restaurant on Beltany Road, Omagh is a favourite spot for the locals and visitors to the area. Located on the outskirts of Omagh - just 3 miles from the town centre - it is family-friendly and offers free on-site parking. This casual dining restaurant serves a delicious selection of European food in a relaxed and friendly setting. It is a 5 minute drive from the Ulster American Folk Park, so perfect for a bite to eat on your day out. Whether it's a post-shopping pit stop or an evening out with family or friends, the Sperrin Restaurant is the place to be."

Service and food excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Not overly hungry so just had the kids fruit kebab and it was gorgeous and some soup and potato (forgot photo!). Then mum had dessert and we all had a taste! Good value and customer service, definitely be back, it's a family favourite!

Lovely place, staff very attentive and friendly, I booked ahead using the website and asked for some specifics for seating, upon arrival we got perfect seating as per request. Food was great, portions massive and I will definitely be back.

The Sperrin is our 'go to' restaurant for birthdays/special occasions etc Unfortunately, tonight we were VERY disappointed with our visit. We ordered our food and were excited to try some of the new additions to the menu, especially the "salt and chilli fries". When our food was brought out we realised we were missing a portion of said fries, when this was mentioned to the waitress she said (with an attitude) we got what we ordered. We let that go and decided we would make sure the missing portion wasn't on the bill at the end of the meal. The excitement of trying the new menu quickly died upon tasting it. The 'fries' were actually thick cut chips with a strange chemical tasting sauce over them (which was not mentioned on the menu) The tobacco onions were extremely undercooked, the plates were cold which meant the food cooled down VERY quickly. The food actually made us feel sick eating it and as you can imagine there was A LOT of wastage. When I went to pay for the food, I was asked if everything was ok, when I said to be honest it wasn't great and that the description on the menu did not match what we got, the lady who took the payment got very defensive and all of a sudden we were surrounded by other staff members telling us that fries are in actual fact fat chips and that clearly we didn't know the difference between fries and chips! To top it all off, they tried to charge us for the missing side that we apparently didn't order. We normally come to the Sperrin about 5 times a year but after tonight, we definitely will not be back. The attitude of the staff was enough to put us off. An apology would have sufficed. Yakety Yack,...

Called here with my wife at 3.45 on a sunday hoping to have a much needed lunch after travelling down from the gaolteach on our way home to newry and to be politely told that lunch had just finished and if we liked to wait untill 4.30 the restaurant would be serving food again.Rules are rules ok. so i declined to wait for that restaurant to open again in 45mins or so.I got back into my car and googled nearby restaurants, and up came a few nearby.I picked the nearest one which was just 5 mins away and just off the main route we were travelling. It was called the Millstone bar & restaurant. We arrived there to be wellcomed by lovely staff and we had a most beautifull sunday lunch within a few minutes of ordering. This restaurant was open for business and we were so glad to give it our money. We cant understand why a restaurant like the sperrin situated along a main route of travel cant offer you a bite to eat between 3.30 and 4.30...

Myself and my partner stayed the night in Omagh. I chose to have a meal in Sperrin. I am glad I did. On arrival the staff were lovely, always smiling, very welcoming and attentive. The resturant in itself is very warm, cosy and very well presentated. My partner had the goujons as his starter, portion sizes were big which is nice, they were chunky goujons, not these type were its crispy batter n very little chicken. We both opted for the sperrin 8oz burger with bacon n cheese...oh my, proper steak burger, juicey, well flavoured, nicest burger ive tasted. Then onto desert...I had apple crumble and custard and my partner had chocolate fudge cake, all which was beautiful. Staff were always asking was everything ok which is lovely. Id recommend to anyone that visits Omagh to dine here, top class. I'll definitely be returning. Thanks to all the staff at...
