The food is good if you can get it delivered and it is a big IF. After waiting an hour after the delivery time they gave us we rang up to see what had happened and were told someone had rung up and cancelled our delivery 15 mins ago (which doesn’t explain why they hadn’t delivered it in the intervening time). We explained that certainly hadn’t happened and that we were supporting people in an institution who were all waiting for meds (around mealtimes etc) and please could they tell us how long it would be - the person on the phone suddenly couldn’t speak or understand English. We were patient and explained the situation again many times, eventually we were told it would take another 45 minutes. . . We gave up at this point and cancelled the order. This is the third time we have had real problems with delivery but we continued to use them after the first two because the food is good and the people we support like it but we will never, ever use the delivery service again but will collect in person as they prioritise walk ins from the street and any orders ready are used to fill these before honouring the online or telephone orders, they told us this the last time we had difficulties ‘we will put some more in for you’. Although we may be forced to continue to use them occasionally in a professional sense, we will walk in and order as it is the only reliable way to receive your order but personally I will never use them again. Pizza is usually really good and the stuffed crust used to be excellent but ordering yesterday as a treat we got stuffed crust that tasted like it was stuffed with a sub-par cheddar and got no pots of sauces at all. I don't like cheddar at the best of times and they used to use mozzarella, I think. Left me with a bad taste in my mouth (Pun intended) which is really disappointing because the food is normally amazing, the staff are always friendly and helpful plus the delivery times are pretty good. Food is always good from here. However, last month I got a chicken wrap meal for £8 something. Went this evening the price has skyrocketed to £11.90.
