Wellwisher Cafe — Restaurant in Forest of Dean

Tucked away behind the shops on the business Park in Mitcheldean, part of an old brewery building. The Wellwisher is a small, spotlessly clean working persons cafe. Tea, coffee cooked English breakfast and it's variants are the staple fare. Expect generous portion sizes, well presented, and enjoyable food in a comfortable, clean environment. The mostly female staff are friendly and welcoming. The prices are on par with similar establishments. Judging by the amount of telephone orders this cafe has it must be great. Popped in the Friday before Christmas which was possibly an error. The cafe was pretty empty and we easily found a table. Didn't even have a chance to look at the menu before a lady informed us that there would be a hours wait for hot food due to the number of phone orders. We left the table of workmen to it - they may have had an hour or 2 to spare but...

I was there at 6am in the morning and I gotta say that the food is absoluty delicious, fresh and crispy. You can takeaway or dine-in, incredible clean and great atmosphere. The toilets are incredible clean and in perfect conditions, the staff absolute glorious. Overall I highly recommend this cafe not for food only but also for having a good time. Try it...
