I've just grabbed a curry pastie from this bakery (handy cashpoint just opposite!) And it was AMAZING!
The pastry was flakey with just the right amount of crisp to be satisfying without falling apart in my hands and covering me in pastry.
The flavour of the filling was rich without being overpowering and, combined with the pastry, was possibly the best pastie I've had hands down.
The business owner makes all his produce in the 'artisan' way which takes serious dedication, and the quality of his produce reflects this.
The prices charged are equal to, and less than, other bakers like Greggs or Millicans, with better quality for that cost. 2 pies for £2 is not to be scoffed at (big pies!)
