Been twice recently last Thursday for a lunch and a pint, to be fair the food was ok as burgers go but on getting home checked bank and been charged for 3 pints instead of one. Gave them the benefit of doubt and called again today for a snack, order the fish finger sandwich on a white bloomer and this is what I got for £7.50 Barrie

Visited the Coachman’s for the first time for a Father’s Day meal and we were not disappointed. The food was some of the best we’ve had when eating out and the portion sizes are very generous!! We had great service and the atmosphere was relaxed. We will definitely be back!!

Nice estate pub recently refurbished. Lots of room in a modern setting, nice food a reasonable prices. Lots of seats outside for sunny days too! Enjoy. Now does breakfasts from 9 o'clock in the morning not all days. Pictures bacon and egg stottie and coachman breakfast.

I took my parents for xmas lunch as a treat..Paid £191.80..for xmas dinner for 4 people..our day was an utter shambles..the room was so cold with lack of atmosphere..our table was booked for 1pm..starters arrived at 1.45..we were still waiting for our dinner at 3.40 .by this time people were starting to complain among themselves and getting very anxious..after enquiring as to why there was a delay..I got no answer just told food wouldn't be long..when the food arrived we were disgusted at the trash we were served it was disgusting...the a child could of made better..it was so embarrassing and a total let down. We all left all of our dinner and sweet..we only eat the starter as we had waited so long and was now hungry..when talking to a member off staff he agreed that the whole thing was a shambles..on the menu it stated tea or coffee and a selection of petite fours..they never arrived ..we were told there was another sitting at 3pm..people were queuing to book in only to be left sitting about waiting..I only pitied them as the first sitting hadn't even been served their sweet which was now 4pm..I could go on..I'm will never entertain that pub again..they are not worthy of peoples money as they never full filled their contract we were not served what we paid for.. total ripp off £47.95..I paid xmas day to eat a starter..our day was ruined and so...

Sadly we booked for Christmas dinner, which turned out to be a big mistake. We were scheduled to eat at one o'clock and ordered our food around 12.50. The starters arrived at 13.45, then came the real wait for our main courses. These arrived an hour and 25 minutes later, and turned out to be a shambles. Two almost black roast potatoes, two slices of rubbery, Turkey, some cold almost raw Savoy cabbage, drinkable Swede puree with frozen peas and sliced carrots. This was waterlogged with very runny gravy, turning the Swede into pure liquid. On the top was an inch and a half thick stodgy attempt of a Yorkshire pudding looking like someone's flat cap. Needless to say, most of our Christmas dinner went into the bin. On our way out there were masses of people waiting for the 3 o'clock sitting. Heaven knows what time these people were seated, but it was after half past 3 and some of the one o'clock sitting still had not been served. This fiasco cost us just under £200 and I can say hand on heart, I would rather of had something from KFC...

Ok food although the roast beef was served incredibly rare and looked more like steaks, to the point our table was swimming with blood. You aren't provided with a steak knife so it was very tricky to eat. I don't mind beef like this but wasn't appropriate for the children. Veg all pretty beige and bland. Also we were told there wasn't any kids fish, so we ordered chicken nuggets then, chicken nuggets didn't actually come, they brought roast chicken and said sorry we don't have any nuggets left. We complained and asked for pizza instead she then said they've found some nuggets. Overall very bad service from start to finish. My one nugget of advice to take away - Avoid, gone...
