Visited for the 3rd time today as a group of 8 for lunch. We hadn't booked but wasn't an issue. The landlord and landlady are extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. We have 5 children (17,10,8,3 & 5 months) and the landlord is fantastic with them. The food is exceptional, made with fresh ingredients and much thought given to presentation. A particularly highlight for my husband and I is the mixed tapas which we would highly recommend . A varied selection is available. I've eaten here many times and have never been let down. Good menu with plenty of choice of dishes that you would expect from a country pub plus a special board for something a bit different. Quite a small pub, but as it is a small village, will no doubt be adequate. We visited for a special occasion, with quite a number of people, so it was very crowded with limited seating.
