We visited twice 3 weeks ago when we were adopting Pongo. Having had our first socialisation session with him we headed to Caffi Nini for lunch. The jacket potatoes were delicious, very generous toppings and cooked nicely with a dressed side salad.
The staff were lovely chatting to us about Luna who was with us and also Pongo who had brought us here.
The next day rather than have breakfast in our hotel we headed to Caffi Nini instead. Rather than support a multi national hotel chain after such a lovely lunch the day before we decided to have breakfast there before our final socialisation session and bringing Pongo home.
The bacon breakfast rolls were amazing. The bacon was really good quality and so tasty and again generous portions. We met different staff on the Sunday all of which were so friendly and all talked about Pongo.
The choice of cakes was amazing too. A fantastic cafe, clean and modern, supporting a fantastic cause and a wonderful animal rescue centre. You could see clearly how much all the staff loved working with the animals and their pleasure in seeing them go to their forever homes.
Highly recommend for coffee and cake, lunch or breakfast if you're in the area. The cafe is open to all and helps sport a...
Read moreLlys nini is a great place - to spend time with your little ones in the play area where there is a castle and other equipment for your little ones to enjoy themselves. There is also a nice woodland walk you can wander through ( with you dog) and then afterwards, why not pop into the lovely cafe with the most friendly and helpful staff I have come across. You can take your little 4 legged friends in there too where blankets snd treats are available for them as well. Last but not least- in the cafe the food is really wonderful - from freshly made up paninis to a daily homemade dish or two - ie - cawl , various soups or perhaps chilli - I also think jacket potatoes are available. Not forgetting desserts - lovely selection of cakes, tea cakes with real Welsh butter snd on certain days homemade scones with ‘real’ clotted cream . Oh- there is also plenty of parking too - so pay them a visit as you won’t be...
Read moreLovely homemade food and great coffee. Staff are friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. Cafe also allows you to take your dog in and doggie treats are dished out to good boys and girls. The warm hub is a lovely addition where you can have a cuppa, natter and a few games. This place has become my first stop with or without the dogs in tow. They also hold a wide variety of events and there is always...
