What an amazing dinner! Karen made us feel right at home as soon as we walked in, and Jim cooked an awesome dinner. I've had haggis a few different ways, but their haggis Wellington is now my favorite. My wife had a cheese and rosemary flatbread that was superb. Then we both finished up with venison steak over potatoes with garden vegetables. Jim said he was just a cook, not a chef, but we totally disagree!! We plan to come back in the summer and try the falconry (and another dinner)

September 26th my wife and I swung in after a nice hike in the light rain for some grub and a pint 🍺 👍 the Struy was lovely and so cozy as a friendly dog strolled by accompanied by some fellow patrons as we went over the menu. Food was delicious and the chunky chips where some of the thickest I’ve consumed 😋our bartender/server was great and also loved the whiskey sauce, almost asked for a pint of it😉 Visit the Struy for yourself and enjoy in silence all around while patrons enjoy the food

First time visitors, and first in at 5.30pm. It opens at 5pm.we were dubious about the visit to say the least. Anyway, we were made to feel very welcome with our dog. The reason we went, dog friendly... I had the venison, my partner had the feather blade beef. Both dishes were excellent. We managed to share a delicious chocolate spong cake and ice cream for dessert. The whole experience was great. We will return for sure.

What a find! The food, hosts and chef (Argentinian and trained with Michelin starred restaurants) were fabulous and great value. Four adults dined last night sharing - the amazing mini haggis balls with whisky sauce and delicious beetroot-marinated salmon starters. The venison stew slowly cooked in Malbec with mash and broccoli was reported as excellent, the crumbed haddock with actual hand cut chunky fries delicious and the local trout for the two ladies was cooked to perfection with the best beurre noisette sauce I’ve ever tasted. The fellows finished their meals with apple and raspberry crumble ( custard and ice cream!) for one and special creamy/oaty/drambuie soaked cranachan. Plenty of gluten free options. Highly...

We had dinner at the Inn for my Wife's birthday. Our friends had recommended the Inn and we all went together. Jim and Karen, the owners, made us feel so welcome the Inn itself is very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Our meal was excellent. I am very fussy when out for a meal and I could not fault it. My haggis starter was delicious as was my venison main course, my wife's steak tasted delicious and everyone else's meals were absolutely spot on. This was a meal that I will remember for a long time and it made my Wife's birthday all the more special, Many thanks...

Even though we live 9 miles away from the Struy Inn we always use it as our local, we live in the surrounding area and the scenery is just beautiful. It can be quiet through the week which is nice if your wanting to get away from it all, the weekends the pub really comes alive with the locals, holiday makers and even the Autumn/Winter watch crew, always a good mix of accents. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, something for everyone. All in all, a great place to stop and rest, meet new people and friends, Oh and the beer's nae to...
