Crossing Truck Stop — Restaurant in Great Britain

Great food sometimes a 10 min wait for it but it's cooked to order and always hot. Loyalty voucher scheme in place £5 off after certain amount of visits. Easy to get to from j13 (Newton trailers) junction as I call it . Fast fuel pumps witch to date I'm yet to ever see one out of order . Great , polite and easy staff to have a laugh with. Parking area can get very tight though . Snap account , keyfuels and UK fuels. Just watch the rut Infront of the second lane of pumps especially if you've got a low bar it's harsher...

Food is ok. Better than some, worse than others. Decor inside needs a lot to be desired. Its like stepping back in time to a 1970s transport cafe. Not somewhere i would want to park for the night. Theres nothing for drivers once you finished work. Nowhere to relax after a hard day on the road. It doesnt have to have a bar but some sort of lounge where we could maybe play pool etc would be good. Parking is tight & the site is not exactly secure BUT it is in a good position...

1 star because you cant leave a no star review ..30 yrs ago not long after passed my class 1 I stumbled across this place I thought it was over priced rubbish food bsckl then AND it still is ..the truck stop that time forgot this place makes Swindon look at half decent...it still looks the same the staff were rude ...Infact the only good thing about this place is the toilet is next to the pumps....RED...
