My first time here (won't be my last) and I'm very impressed. Inside has a really relaxed feel about it with plenty of seating including comfy sofas etc. The ales I had were spot on as you would expect and there are plenty of other beers and wines for the non-ale drinkers. The food looked amazing although I didn't eat on this occasion but will definitely on a future visit. Thoroughly recommended.

A charming and friendly brewery tap, with the feel of a local cafe. Plenty of free parking and outside seating for warmer days. We enjoyed a splendid lunch with a flight of three ales - Thanks, Sheila. Location, on the edge of Rowrah village, [no idea how to pronounce that!], and not far from Cogra Moss lake and Western Fells.

A little place we never knew existed! Lovely layout great decor and some amazing in brewed drinks on choice! We had a Sunday roast and I we couldn't fault one thing we had. Great prices and the food was amazing. All the staff are really friendly and go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Would highly recommend 👌

Local brewery based near Ennerdale Bridge. The feel of the place has been really well done by the owners. The main building is split into two, 1 side is a restaurant and the other side has been decorated to look like a pub which has a bar serving its onsite made beer. I personally can't comment on the food, having looked at the prices and the food being carried out, then I'd say it looked good, and good value.

We did have a few drinks though...lovely sofas and you do feel like you're in a different building from the restaurant area, which is cosy. Being the home of this brand of beer, you may expect to pay a higher price...but no. At the time of this review, the pints were roughly £3.70, bottles were £2.95 and you could purchase multiple with a discount on packs of 6/12. Very good value from a small local brewery, they do supply a number of pubs and the YHAs near by, lovely beer, the honeycomb a...

Visited on a Thursday evening with no booking. All the tables were fully booked but staff offered to accommodate us on one of the sofas with a coffee table. We were tired and hungry and it was a wet windy night so we went for it. Ordered scampi and chips and a classic burger - food arrived quickly and it was fabulous. Huge plates, absolutely delicious and I think there were more pieces of scampi than chips on my plate. Went away full and very very happy - we were so impressed with the value and that they accommodated us when they were fully booked up. Highly...

First time here as on a hiking holiday, we chose here as it was showing 4.8 and had many good reviews, we were disappointed. The restaurant was empty we were the only guests here and when we asked for a table the host said they were reserved and said all the tables were until 5:30pm.but then back tracked and said you can have for an hour and half. The food was bland the curry had no chick peas in it, cauliflower was overcooked, veg lasagne was ok. Also which is important it was dirty, food on the floor and it was sticky including the...
