Sorry, I didn't take any photos! However, the staff were superb, giving us a polite, friendly and warm welcome. They also happily engaged in conversation with us The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and everything ordered arrived at the same time. The beef and ale pie was superb, as were the fries. The haddock was very enjoyable and the drinks were cool and refreshing. The place had plenty of parking, looked superb both inside and outside, was clean, well decorated, well presented and was of a perfect temperature. Tables were spacious with plenty of room for everyone to move around between tables without disurbing seated diners. A comfortable and relaxing environment in which to eat the superb food served up piping hot and in super-quick time. All in all a perfect evening meal in a well established and well kept establishment that is run with excellent catering standards and with great staff - we've been in the Fort William area onholiday for 6 days now, and this is the most perfect place we've eaten - well done and thank you to all at the Glen Nevis Restaurant, we will see you...

Front desk of house were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks arrived promptly after the order was taken.
Nice menu. We ordered 2 chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with hagis, whiskey sauce, mash, tender stem broccoli and roasted honey carrots. Absolutely delicious; arrived quickly and hot. 1 cheeseburger and chips which was also delicious. With soft drinks.
A little pricey but happy to pay for the excellent food and service. Nicely laid out restaurant and bar and very busy. Definitely make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Read moreMy partner and i decided to visit Fort William as it is recommended by guides. We wanted to have some food in a traditional pub. First we waited 40minutes to get our food and it wasn't even what we ordered! Then we had our steaks which were of a very low quality. Really bad! we then got our desserts which were eton mess( my favourite). The whipped cream was warm! I didn't know it was even possible! And the 'vanilla ice cream' was bright yellow with a very strong chemical taste! The last time I tasted one ice cream of this quality I was in the third world!!!! Only one word comes to my mouth: DOSAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING! We were better off at McDonald's! That's such a shame as we wanted to eat in a good Scottish pub! I will never recommend it not even to my...
