Really impressed with this little gem. Our party of 6 made the error of not booking somewhere in advance, so were turned away from everywhere in Fort William. We called Glen Nevis restaurant on the off chance they'd have space, and received a very enthusiastic welcome! Lovely atmosphere at the foot of a mountain, friendly staff, good food and drink options. One of our group is gluten intolerant, and when she enquired whether the burgers could be gluten free, she was told that was no trouble at all (a pleasantly unusual response when not specified on the menu). I braved the haggis, which was much more like stuffing and not scary at all, so a nice treat with the Glen Nevis chicken! Overall a great little place for a holiday meal. Thank you to all the staff!

We had a wonderful lunch experience at Glen Nevis Restaurant. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We tried both the Nevis Burger and the Chargrilled Chicken B.L.T. Burger — both were absolutely delicious! The beef patty was juicy and well-seasoned, and the chicken burger had a perfect balance of fresh lettuce, and a tasty chutney. What made our visit even better was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was cheerful, helpful, and provided excellent service with a smile. You could tell they genuinely cared about the guest experience. Highly recommend stopping by for a relaxed lunch with a great view and even better service. Definitely a highlight of our time in the area!

Had food and drink here (in the bar, not restaurant) twice when we stayed at the campsite. First night was a busy Friday night and the food was genuinely really good, way better than we expected 2nd night on the Saturday we ate a bit earlier just before 5 and the quality was definitely not the same at all, went from an 8/9 out of 10 down to a really standard 5/10, not sure if because of different cooks or what but massively different experience. Either way the beer was great, the service was fantastic and the pub itself is great. Would still roll the dice and eat here again if I was up here, worth a try cos if you get the good stuff it's really good Definitely stop here for food and drink 👍🍻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sorry, I didn't take any photos! However, the staff were superb, giving us a polite, friendly and warm welcome. They also happily engaged in conversation with us The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and everything ordered arrived at the same time. The beef and ale pie was superb, as were the fries. The haddock was very enjoyable and the drinks were cool and refreshing. The place had plenty of parking, looked superb both inside and outside, was clean, well decorated, well presented and was of a perfect temperature. Tables were spacious with plenty of room for everyone to move around between tables without disurbing seated diners. A comfortable and relaxing environment in which to eat the superb food served up piping hot and in super-quick time. All in all a perfect evening meal in a well established and well kept establishment that is run with excellent catering standards and with great staff - we've been in the Fort William area onholiday for 6 days now, and this is the most perfect place we've eaten - well done and thank you to all at the Glen Nevis Restaurant, we will see you...

Totally 5⭐️ We had booked a table for 5.30pm, but due the horrendous traffic we didn’t arrive until 6pm. We had to phoned on our way to advise that we’d be late. They had to give our table away but said they’d accommodate. They were true to their word and we were seated immediately.

Front desk of house were very friendly and helpful. Our drinks arrived promptly after the order was taken.

Nice menu. We ordered 2 chicken wrapped in bacon stuffed with hagis, whiskey sauce, mash, tender stem broccoli and roasted honey carrots. Absolutely delicious; arrived quickly and hot. 1 cheeseburger and chips which was also delicious. With soft drinks.

A little pricey but happy to pay for the excellent food and service. Nicely laid out restaurant and bar and very busy. Definitely make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

Well...

My partner and i decided to visit Fort William as it is recommended by guides. We wanted to have some food in a traditional pub. First we waited 40minutes to get our food and it wasn't even what we ordered! Then we had our steaks which were of a very low quality. Really bad! we then got our desserts which were eton mess( my favourite). The whipped cream was warm! I didn't know it was even possible! And the 'vanilla ice cream' was bright yellow with a very strong chemical taste! The last time I tasted one ice cream of this quality I was in the third world!!!! Only one word comes to my mouth: DOSAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING DISAPPOINTING! We were better off at McDonald's! That's such a shame as we wanted to eat in a good Scottish pub! I will never recommend it not even to my...
