The service was terrible. They need to sort out how they treat their click and serve customers. Customers in store and in the drive through have priority over click and serve customers. I pulled into a click and serve space and submitted my order I had saved earlier. I entered my space number and waited for my meal. I watched customers and delivery drivers enter and leave with food from inside. I watched cars enter the drive through queue and leave the other end a short while later with their food. After another car had pulled into the click and serve space beside me and place their order, I was astonished to see their food brought out after 10 minutes. They received an apology for the delay, after asking what caused the delay they were told that drive through are prioritised over click and serve customers. I then asked that member of staff if they could look into my meal as my son and I had been waiting over 34 minutes at this stage. And seeing the car beside us get there’s in under 10 minutes made it even worst. He went in to check for us. After another 15 minutes our food was brought out, along with “your food was delayed as we are extremely busy, but we have freshly cooked your order from scratch. And they walked off. No apology or anything. They were serving other customers on time and the car beside me. So not a valid excuse. If they had just apologised and admitted they’d forgotten or missed my order. I couldn’t go into the restaurant to complain as I am disabled and I was having a bad day so couldn’t easily get into the restaurant to speak to them which is why I chose click and serve in the first place. Read moreWent at 8.07pm made a big order for all my family.... waiting over 20mins then hear 3 girls laughing about a receipt been lost another 10 mins past and a young lad came and asked my order number which was 66! Then one of the girls that was laughing came over and said can I see your receipt please as we have lost yours I then replied oh so mine was the receipt you girls where laughing about losing over 10mins ago I've now been waiting over half hour for my food...then she wanted my receipt off me to get my order!!! The manager then apologised to me and I said I had been waiting nearly 40mins and she offered us a couple of deserts I said NO obviously there was more than a couple of people eating from my order which cost over £45 and she offered a couple of deserts I said no I want to leave and feed mu kids so please just sort my order!! The manager took charge of our order and had to check the bag her staff had filled then checked it again so my food had been handle so many times before it even got me how disgusting!!!! Your ment to be a manager sort your staff out and your management skills!!! I visit this very regular but tonight topped it for us as a big family we will travel to another one rather than use this one. Food was cold, chicken nuggets where like rubber been sat that long!! Read moreI rarely leave reviews but felt compelled to leave one today about the consistent very poor service I receive when I go to this MacDonald’s.
When we go through the drive-through, waits of up to 40 minutes are not unusual. For example I waited 30 minutes today at the drive-through (Sunday around 13:00) despite the restaurant appearing not to be too busy inside. One drive-through lane was taking 3 orders for every 1 the other was. No apology for the wait from staff. When eventually we got our food, the fries were cold and my cheeseburger looked like it had been in a road traffic accident.
The service in the restaurant is just as bad when we go in too with JustEat and UberEats drivers seemingly getting preferential treatment. I’ve waited up to 40 minutes with two young kids before to get our food with a constant stream of drivers being served before us. I get that these guys are just trying to earn their living but this is supposed to be a family restaurant at the end of the day and surely the staff could look after regular customers too?
My kids love a MacDonald’s and it’s a nice treat for them. I don’t want to tell them they can’t have one but the thought of dealing with this branch really puts me off. Guess I will be driving further out to find better service...
