The Buffet Box Cafe - Cumbernauld — Restaurant in Great Britain

I’ve been coming here for a few years and consistently had good service and good food until the last few months where something seems to have changed that has meant the service has deteriorated with slow orders (even first thing when it’s quiet). It’s a shame really, because the food is generally good. They just need to make the service and speed better - over 30 minutes for an order this morning despite being quiet (I was the only customer waiting and there were no other online orders waiting). It took about 5 minutes for someone to realise I was waiting in the shop to begin with as both staff were in the kitchen and I felt I got a bit of attitude from the front of house staff member because I asked how long it was going to be after 25 minutes and then again when I asked for a bag to carry the breakfast rolls. This place is very under sold. The quality of the food is amazing all proper butchers food. From traditional breakfast to healthy salad all fresh prepared daily open early and very very clean coffee you would expect at an italion bistro all in all amazing wee place chicken coujons are to die for if it was situated in Glasgow centre it would need crowd control also if your lucky you will get a peak at Daniel's rear of the year when you ask for toast and she turns round to cook it Alan is an amazing cooked (more hen pecked than a bag of chicken feed ) a must try...

Ordering the food was easy, ordered a 10 item breakfast box, along with a 5 item box. Expected it to be sparse but almost an hour later me and my girlfriend are still munching on it. Food arrived relatively warm but got cold quickly. Everything was cooked well and it tasted good. The bacon could’ve been better but nothing much to complain about. £14 (delivery included) for a 15 piece hot breakfast delivered to your door is definitely value for money.
