Great family friendly local.

Since Steph and Kath have taken the pub over its a very different pub from The Mill of old. It's a local that I'm now happy to take the family to for some great food or a game of pool with the kids. The locals are a great bunch, always polite and chatty, and notably keep the language down when the kids are in, a credit to the work the girls have done to turn the pub clientele around. -Keep an eye out for live music, family fun days, music and themed nights. Well what a lovely place. I had a wonderful evening here, there were such a range of people but everyone was friendly and chatty. The staff were so welcoming and considering this wasn't a local pub to me I was immediately made to feel welcome. The place was clean and tidy, toilets were spotless and smelled lovely. Didn't order food, just enjoyed a drink with family, the bar maid was lovely, unfortunately (noones fault) there was a child in a pushchair screaming constantly very upset and stressed this went on for the duration of our time in the building (at least 2 hours) we then chose to leave as conversation was difficult to hear over the sheer volume of screaming, again it is a family place so noise is expected but we found it distressing with how distressed...
