Wandered in for a drink to find a lovely welcoming atmosphere. We didn't try the food but it had a good menu with some old favourites like Liver & Bacon on there. We went on a Monday evening and it was quiet apart from some friendly regulars. Got invited here just a couple of weeks ago, & I don't drink anymore, but its lovely country pub. Very polite, welcoming friendly staff. Very dog friendly, which is why i took up the invite. Had food there on the second visit, lovely meal, my partner loved hers too. My only nag is alcohol free lager is so dear, but that's everywhere, as it's only sold by the half pint bottle. Arrived at this place to see if i could gain access inside, Luckily the owner / boss who runs the pub was about, so asked if it was alright for myself to come in, No bother at all, hes such a genuine bloke , always a pleasure to carry out the service here, i wish the guy well, and break this lockdown, so he can get up and running again, im sure his locals are missing the pints. 🍻🍺🍻👍.....
