A beautiful historical community pub with a landlady Charlotte who is larger than life, customer focused and passionate about bringing the locals together to make memories. Her staff, front of house and in the kitchen bring together a friendly and welcoming atmosphere with meals that you could eat in an upmarket restaurant. The outside area is a welcome attribute and with plenty of parking, a really good place to enjoy a drink and meal while singing, quizzing or just chilling with friends. My husband and I have started to enjoy regular date nights - while meeting new friends and laughing well into the night. Thank you for bringing joy back into the village 🩷 Summer cocktails 🍹 🍸 and Pimms 🍃 🍓 🥒 are my favourite and puts me in a holiday mood! 😉

I'm popping in more frequently and I have noticed that there is one VERY loud gentleman with a beard who thinks he has hired the whole pub. I understand people having a nice time in a pub, but the amount of times he said the C word and the F word is just ridiculous. I'm pretty sure the staff know who I'm talking about, so PLEASE get a grip of this guy, as next time, I will ask him to keep it down !! And the flag pole is still empty !! 😂 🇬🇧

We came upon this place by accident whilst heading out for Sunday lunch. We got a spot in the car park and got ourselves a seat in the bar. Lovely staff served us a beautiful roast dinner and drinks. Tasted great, clean place and lovely atmosphere. Would go back and would recommend

We are really pleased that The Swan has reopened. It’s nice to have a local pub within walking distance again. The staff are really friendly, particularly Rohan, who has been particularly helpful. We haven’t tried the food yet, so I can’t comment on that. It is generally busy when we come, so if you are planning a meet up with family or friends, you might want to book a table. I liked that the sport was showing in one bar, while the other bar was quiet.

My only suggestions for improvement are that there should be a baby changing table somewhere (there is plenty of room in the ladies toilet - no idea about the men’s). I saw a lady changing a baby on a seat in the bar area, which is not ideal. It’s not ideal that when I walk past the men’s toilets I can see and smell the urinals.

I’m looking forward to the planned improvements to the garden seating area and hoping it will be ready by...

Our views may have been affected as it was New Year’s Day and they clearly had a busy night the night before as they were still trying to clear away. The service was ok, but there were lots of food items that turned out to be unavailable. The some of the food was not warm and the chicken wrap contained very overcooked and dry chicken and chorizo, tasted like it was made a day or 2 before. The rest of the food tasted ok. Surprised there was no compensation for the fact the wrap was barely edible and was still charged full price. Not somewhere I would re-visit. Would have preferred if the establishment just did not take the booking if they could not have delivered following a busy New Year’s Eve. Not the start to new years I would...
