The most amazing experience, god I wish all service was as friendly and attentive as tremenheere kitchen. The girls working the day we went couldn’t have been nicer. Everything arrived beautifully presented and tasted delicious and fresh. Can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. After exploring the most magical gardens we were greeted with huge smiles from the staff. We were lucky the sun was out so we got to sit on the terrace. The food arrived quickly as did the drinks, we asked for recommendations out of the fish choices and both opted for the crab linguine. Absolutely delicious and made even better by a glass of French rosè, someone knows their wine as it was top notch. We asked for coffees after and our waitress kept an eye on us and waited for us finish our wine before delivering delicious fresh ground coffees. Although this sounds obvious our waitresses attention to detail made the experience seamless for us. All in all a fantastic experience and we will for sure return again. In short, don’t miss out on this place, you can visit without using the garden so makes a great place just to pop in. I recommend calling ahead and booking! I’d give 10...

We were excited to come and visit here as we had not been before and it was our first day off in a couple of months. It took us a couple of hours to get to the gardens and so we were ready for a cup of tea or coffee and a bit of cake by the time we arrived. It was just before noon and there was lots of space outside as it was not a great day weatherwise.

We were just waiting to get to the counter when we were called to one side by a lady and asked what we wanted. When we said just a couple of teas and a piece of cake we were told that they would not serve us as they were getting ready to serve lunch and expecting to be inundated, although it was not busy at the time. She then looked awayin what we felt to be a very dismissive manner.

If a cafe cannot manage to deliver a cup of tea it is a pretty poor show and we were so disappointed that we did not feel like paying to have a look at the gardens after this.

Instead, we went to The Wayside cafe at Zennor where the staff did seem plaesed to see us. We had a nice light lunch there and then spent the afternoon at Trengwainton Gardens so the day tuned out well for...

My daughter and I went here on a Monday afternoon in the winter and the restaurant was busy. We chose the Buttermilk Turkey burger, being Christmas time, and it was absolutely delicious. The battered crumb mix around the turkey breast was amazing, crunchy and flavoursome with melted Gruyère cheese on top and pickled red cabbage and caramelised onion chutney underneath, it was truly mouth watering. The menu had a good selection of choice and the sweet selection amazing. We had the warm brownie with raspberry sorbet to share, as we were so full but needed a sweet finish. Service was a little slow but the restaurant was full, however we were well looked after. This was our second visit, albeit years apart with still a high standard achieved. A real wood fire going to create atmosphere and keep the room...

The food here is just delicious, quality ingredients simply cooked and beautifully presented! We are hooked on the homemade tortillas, triple cooked chips and croque monsieur!!! The settings are lovely too, a stylish modern interior with a log burning stove, colourful chairs, locally made pewter seashell condiment dishes and always fresh flowers which are also available to buy! The attached gallery is filled with unusual and reasonably priced makes from local crafts people. A must when visiting this area

When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a member of staff. They kindly showed us to a table and gave us menus to choose from. We ordered hot drinks and they were delicious. They arrived at a perfect temperature so they didn't get cold fast. We ordered 3 orange polentas, extremely delicious cake. The level of hygiene is extremely good, all the displayed cakes are covered. Highly recommended to visit, worth visiting. We will return.
