I recently visited a cafe overlooking the beautiful Rollesby Broad, and it was a wonderful experience! The cafe has a large car park with accessible parking spaces, and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. The toilets were clean and accessible, which is always a plus. The cafe itself has lovely views over the water, and dogs are welcome inside. While we were there we also checked out the outdoor play area for smaller children which was a nice touch and entertaining for my little guy. If you're in the area with your family, the boat rides are a must-try during peak season. The staff made the experience fun for everyone, and the price was very reasonable. For those with dietary restrictions, this cafe is a great find, as a lot on the menu can be catered for Gluten Free. The restaurant itself is immaculate, and the grounds are well-maintained with great views of Rollesby Broad the outdoor terrace and stunning scenery make for a great experience. The menu offers a wide range of delicious food, with generous portions and mid-range prices. However, if you plan on visiting during the holiday season or on Sundays, I would recommend booking a table in advance to avoid disappointment. Overall, I had a great experience at this cafe, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spot to grab a coffee or a meal.

A nice place for a coffee. There is a large car park with accessible parking spaces. The cafe has lovely views over the water. The toilets are clean and accessible. Service was quick, efficient and done with a smile. We visited for breakfast. My husband and I both had a coffee and a sausage sandwich. We were a little disappointed that each sandwich only contained 1 and a half small links of sausages (I'm sure they could have stretched to 2 sausages. Total cost was £12.00. We walked towards the place where they offer boat trips but unfortunately as it is November these are not running (during high season only). Dogs are not allowed on the boat trips but can go Inside the cafe. There is a nice outdoor play area for smaller children.

Lovely, friendly staff and a wide range delicious food, which is mid-price range and generous portions, and is always presented very well. They also have a wide range of delicious deserts, for those with a "sweet tooth". I would, however, recommend booking a table in advance during the holiday season, and on Sundays, as they are always very busy, to avoid disappointment. The restaurant and grounds are immaculate inside and out, with great views of Rollesby Broad. The boat trips are very informative, and highly recommended. I've been several times, and have never been disappointed.

£20–30 Positive great location and great building not so positive. Food ordered was 2 sandwiches both veggy. Was told it would be 30min wait? There was maybe a dozen tables with people on. But that was fine. No rush. Then it went down hill food came and yes ham and cheese sandwich. Me I don't care as eat meat but wife veggy. So spoke to the lady and said what we ordered she apoligised. I sat facing the counter and I could blatently hear the manager i assume slagging us off saying about the ham sandwich she appeared angry at staff member. (Not her fault mistakes happen) it is a hot day and people don't perform in the heat well that is understood. The food came right eventually? My wife ate a bit crisps soft and the sandwich well not the greatest. She left most of the food.

I also took a look into the leaflet holder on the table just for ref table 2. It was dirty with empty wrappers. I thought oh well looked at the floor and just bits of detritus on the floor. By then was getting disapointed bill came 2 sandwich 1 portion chips and 2 drinks £28.

Ohh and the mens toilet might want to get toilet system looked at as the tiles were off and sharp hate anyone to cut themselves. This is honest review like I said before the place is lovely and indact is normally great this is maybe just a bad day. But serving meat to a veggy ummmm not...

Mixed feelings about this venue. First of all, the food. We all opted for either fish and chips or scampi and chips, which were prepared well, and the portions were generous. The fish batter, while quite crisp, was rather oily. I'm not sure if it had been refried. Putting that aside, the fish was not overcooked. Looking at the menu as a whole, it looked more like an offering you might expect from a cafe rather than a restaurant. On arriving, we were told that they were quite busy as a result of a couple of large parties. There were plenty of free tables, so maybe they were understaffed? We placed our order just before 1pm, and the meals arrived an hour later. During that time, no one came to advise us of the length of the wait. We had to ask a member of staff. Again, perhaps they were shorthanded. The building does look good and the outside seating area, weather permitting, I'm sure, would make for a lovely place to have a meal. However, the acoustics of the building are poor. Two of our party had hearing aids and found it difficult to hear conversations as a result of...
