The Greedy Pig — Restaurant in Guildford

Seeing as I was having work done on my car last week (Ash Vale Tyres), I decided to pop into the Greedy Pig to pass the time.

As I needed to work remotely, it seemed like a good place to stop; food, drink, seating and electric. There is no WiFi but tethering works just fine. As soon as I arrived the staff were very welcoming and friendly - I ordered a bacon roll and a latte. After I pitched up camp at the bar, I witnessed several locals coming in - it’s clear this place is a firm favourite!

Unfortunately, more work on the car was needed today but all is not lost, I’m back at The Greedy Pig! Sausage bap for me this morning and as before, delicious and generous portions. THE PLACE TO GO FOR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH thought I would hold back writing a review until I visited numerous times but I’ve got to say this place is faultless the breakfast produce is of high quality and fresh ,(I would choose this over McDonald’s!) you can tell that it’s not cheap frozen stuff, had a meatball mozzarella melt for lunch absolutely divine and at £3.50 for a large panini toasted , service is spot on too The prices are brilliant could not get over the price for the quality of food , definitely worth a visit in my opinion, you won’t be disappointed Hit the nail on the head the people who run this just how a breakfast n sandwich bar should be done See you next time round guys all...

What a great little cosy cafe which is bright, modern and kept extremely neat and tidy throughout. Wonderful staff who provide not only a lovely warm welcome as you enter but great service too. Food selection is perfect to sort out those hunger pangs along with various options of bread. I ordered a bacon and egg baguette which was superb. Good quality fresh ingredients are used throughout.
