My partner and I went to Castle Inn last night for my birthday. At the entrance we were not offered a table so went inside and chose a table in the conservatory at the back. Shortly the hostess lady showed up with menus and started telling us off for taking that table saying that the table might have been reserved even though it was not and there was no "reserved" sign on it and the place was almost empty. The wine menu was not provided and we had to ask for it. We asked if they are making "four cheeses" pizza and we have been told that they do but we been brought "four seasons" instead. The waitress was very apologetic though so we didn't ask to change it. As the evening progressed and the darkness grew we have been left sitting in the dark conservatory for a while, nobody came to turn on the light, or to ask us if the food is ok, or to offer more drinks in this matter. I had to get creative and to use my phone camera light just to see around. At the end the lady who was telling us off at the begging showed up and put the lights on and went away. Never asked if we would like to have some dessert or coffee ... We felt pretty much abandoned the whole evening. The pizza was good even though it wasn't the one I...

We recently celebrated my wife's birthday at The Castle Inn, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the experience! From the moment we enquired about using The Castle Inn, the Manageress, Ewelina went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A lovely semi private room was reserved for us, which was laid out perfectly for 26 guests, a singer and a small dance floor which we decorated with balloons, posters and pictures.

The food was simply outstanding. We enjoyed a variety of dishes, including perfectly cooked chicken, pork, fresh seafood, and delicious starters. Every bite was bursting with flavour, and the presentation was impeccable.

Our waiters were attentive and personable, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The rest of the staff were also friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our party was a success.

Overall, I would highly recommend The Castle Inn for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch, and our party was truly memorable thanks to the team at this...

Visited this for food for the first time on a Friday night, and won't be back. The place wasn't busy, and we'd pre booked a table for 7pm, we arrived just after 10 to7. Was shown to our table straight away. It then took 20 minutes for our drinks order to be taken, and another 5+ for them to be brought to us. Our food order was taken and just over 30 minutes was brought to us. The pizzas were very expensive for what they were, with very little toppings or flavour, which was almost £18. To be fair I've had better from domino's. The music was some awful jazz music on loop that we couldn't wait to leave from. Think the place needs an injection of customer service, or a visit to charm school, as there was no welcome or thanks for coming that we receive in every other place we go. Which is a real shame as its a...

We went here to celebrate our anniversary, drawn by the variety on the menu. It offers a nice mix of Mediterranean dishes, blending Italian, Spanish, and Greek cuisine. The food was really delicious, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. However, the service could use some improvement. We ordered a second round of drinks when we placed our food order but ended up waiting a very long time. My husband had to ask if they had forgotten, and although they assured us it would be right out, the drinks only arrived after we finished our starters. In the meantime, my husband was drinking mine since his was already gone. The garden seating is pleasant, though a bit noisy due to nearby traffic. Overall, the food was fantastic, but the service could definitely be better.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately captivated by the warm and cozy ambiance. The decor perfectly balanced the historic charm of the building with modern touches, creating an elegant yet relaxed setting. The staff welcomed me with genuine hospitality and guided me to my table, ensuring I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout my dining experience. The menu at Castle Inn Corby Restaurant showcased a delightful blend of traditional and contemporary dishes. It was evident that great care had been taken in selecting high-quality ingredients, resulting in beautifully presented plates bursting with flavor. The menu offered a variety of options to suit different preferences, from hearty mains to vegetarian and vegan choices.

Stopped in here for a family meal...quite disappointingly tragic. Atmosphere was abysmal, Took over 30 minutes to get served by that time the kitchen was only serving pizza. No warning by the staff that the menu was limited before we'd waited. Staf were failry ignorant...and the 'private party' that were just downright rude...demanding that they had a private party (in a public area) and we weren't to walk past them. Maybe a private room would have served them better. The staff were quite slow. I've experienced a far better atmosphere in "Rock Cafe, Halford" on Mainzer Straße Berlin...to be blatantly honest, save your money, eat elsewhere.
