We recently went on Sunday 29th December as a party of 6x to do interactive clay shooting, and darts. The shooting and darts were both brilliant fun, the drinks service was very quick and the food came out as requested for perfect timing between the two activities. Equally, the food was brilliant and complimented by all. However, 25 mins into our 55 min darts session (scheduled to finish at 21:10, with the venue closing at 21:15) we were told it was last orders at the bar and they would be closing in 20 mins (21:00, cutting our darts 10 mins short, and 15 mins before they should close). I then had to go and question this and show my booking to be until 21:10, to which they then agreed. At this point we felt like the staff just wanted us out so they could knock off early. At this point we ordered two rounds and the bar staff came over again to clarify that we could finish the drinks in time (30 mins). 5 mins before the end of our darts we were approached again by the bar staff and a couple of women we were with were encouraged to drink up and they may not have time to finish the drinks. 21:10 - End of our session, drinks were drunk and we were walking out with people using the toilet on the way out. The people were asked not to wait in the lobby area and proceed outside. With everyone outside they promptly shut the venue and as we were waiting for a taxi, we were asked not to stand next to the building and were told to stand in the car park instead. Whilst we moved to the car park, the bar man was asked if he could take a picture of our group to mark the birthday occasion we were there fore. We were then told "Sorry, i'm off the clock now" as he and a couple of others proceeded to go to their cars and depart. Bearing in mind we had spent approx £90 on activities, and then another £250+ on food and beverages, we didn't think that was much to ask to take a 10 second picture. Overall, we very much enjoyed the venue, activities, food and beverages, but left feeling disappointed and that we had just spend half of our darts session being pushed to hurry...
Read moreWent to Ballerz Clubhouse with the family, we tried out both the darts & mini golf, along with ordering some of the food.
The darts was easy to understand and had a ton of games. The room is probably suitable for 6 players but could take up to 10 that can all play as teams.
The crazy golf was fun, the score cards allowed for 4players per group. The holes offered a variety of challenges from loop-the-loops, playing up tall inclines, through a foozball table (that your competitors play to keep your ball from a hole in 1) amongst others.
Staff were very friendly, there are plenty of drinks to choose from. Food on offer is good ‘bar food’: assortments of wings, fries with a dozen toppings, burgers etc.
I had the burger (forgot about the photo as it looked too good to not get started), we also had some BBQ wings and prawns.
I would recommend the venue to all ages, the food and drink was reasonable and the experience would be good during the day and have a great atmosphere in the...
Read moreWhat a great place to go on a Saturday night with friends! Atmosphere was fun, with great music, but you could still hear yourself speak. The mini-golf is creative, but bear in mind that as it's only 9 holes, you are done in 20 minutes. So if you book it, you need to come for food and drinks too, otherwise you'll be in an out in half an hour. The darts are fun, but at the price, it's worth going with more people as it's the same price whether you go as a couple of 8 of you!
The food menu was limited, but good. The burgers were clearly high quality and the wings decent - if heavily battered. People with sweet teeth will be disappointed as churros is the only option. Thank-fully they have a huge selection of cocktails! Sweet enough for me. Service though, was brilliant. You order from the table and we rarely had to wait more than 5 minutes to get drinks.
All in all a great little find in the middle of the Hampshire...
