What a lovely little cafe! We visited Chinley for the first time yesterday as a starting point to our long hike. We came across this little gem of a cafe, happy to have stopped and checked them out. We got a spice chai latte to go as well as the dreamiest, fudgy, nutty vegan brownie (please keep these on your menu) and a rocky road. They were a dream and such a good fuel mid hike. The staff were so welcoming and friendly, we cannot praise them enough. We will go back on our next visit in the area.

What a super cafe! Gorgeous freshly cooked food, lovely coffees & teas. So dog friendly you even get a little pot of sausage for them, such a nice touch. The mushrooms with local cheese was delicious, as was the hollandaise sauce on the eggs benedict. One to try if you're anywhere near by

Wonderful cafe/bar in the heart of Chinley Village. Stumbled across it today and will definitely be back. I had a few craft ales but will be back for the food and coffee, looked delicious. Also can't speak highly enough of the staff. Sarah was particularly great.

We came here last Sunday for brunch, myself and four friends, as part of a train journey pub crawl in the Peak District. The fact that the Green Lane Social is licensed and was close to the railway station made it an ideal choice of where to start the day. We all had various drinks and different brunch items, and all were served, and the orders taken, with courtesy and humour which was fitting with our day. My friends said their food was amongst the best that they'd had! We’ve recently achieved pensionable age, so this wasn’t their first rodeo. I had the pancake stack with bacon and sausage etc. It was excellent, I have to say.

The gentleman at the front of house, sorry fella that we didn’t ask your name, is perfect for this place. He may have told an untruth that he is not the owner, as his style of service works very well and he was relaxed in his surroundings. Nothing was too much trouble. A gem of a place, and I would...

Hi. Lovely cafe and friendly staff, coffee was very good. Just a couple of points the owner should consider. I ordered a large breakfast, this was mid afternoon, everything was OK apart from the bacon and sausage which probably had been cooked earlier and then re-cooked. The bacon was very crisp and dry which I didn't mind too much but the sausage was hard and crunchy. Considering they use Hensall's products which are superb they spoilt this part of the meal.

They also have a quaint Covid 19 proceedure, when the waitress was cleaning up after a couple with a small child she swept there floor with a hand brush and then swept the seating with the same brush. We will be voting with our feet, sorry as this could be a great little...
