The first time I’ve ever been moved to write a review, but sadly this time merits such a thing.
Firstly, I live just up the road, but having to look after my son I was unable to collect my take away, so I decided to order one to be delivered over the phone.
Firstly, I was spoken to by someone who didn’t understand what I was saying, so another gentleman took over and took my order. He then said “see you in 20 minutes”.
I had to then call back and explain I wanted my food delivered, so he took my address, I said “can I pay over the phone” to which I just got a “thank you goodbye”. I didn’t have any cash on me, and I didn’t want to call back a third time!
So my food was delivered, I said “can I pay by card” and then the abuse started! Personally insulted! It was all my fault! So that’s me done with them. The food was overpriced anyway, I prefer the one in Bramba to be honest. I told them to take their food back, and check my review online. To which he did and I hope the gentleman reads this.
Now read this and learn some manners...... or at the very least listen to what someone says on the phone. I understand you are busy and probably overloaded with orders. But if that’s the case then please hire more staff, because orderinga simple meal for 1 person who lives 4 minutes walk up the road should not be an ordeal!!!! and if you make people afraid to speak to you then you will loose customers.
And you’ve...

We have used the Kushbu on numerous occasions and never have a bad meals, so it is our Indian restaurant of choice.
Their menu is well put together providing a good selection of Curries covering most peoples tastes.
Not being lovers of mouth scalding heat, we generally order the milder types of curry and we find the food from the Khushbu is prepared as described so a mild curry is just that mild but always full of flavor.
Whereas we have previously ordered a tikka and korma from the Maharaja (Upper Beadings/Bambers only other Indian restaurant) which was so spicy they were unpleasant to eat and my Tikka was swimming in oil. Another quality of the Khushbu's food it that it is not swimming in oil when...
Read moreHave been a loyal customer for years but now it's time to part. Had take-away delivered tonight. For 2 mains 1 starter and 2 breads it was £32, which is top top pricing for a company that's lowered the quality while increasing prices over the last few years. Tonight was the last straw. Not only a price shocker. The meal was stone cold. Not everything was as well cooked and flavoured than you'd expect for the price. I think we will now make the effort to go to Shoreham cottage. Its so much cheaper and it's very tasty. Additionally, spoken to a lot of upper beeding locals and they feel...
