We visited as this pub is less than a minute walk from where we were staying the night before getting married - we wondered in and grabbed a pint and ordered an early dinner expecting some typical pub grub.
Honestly - the food was amazing. We ordered a gammon egg and chips to share, some hummus and pitta, cheddar and corn fritters and some pork belly - we cannot fault any of it
The gammon was perfect, the chips potentially the best chips we’ve had in a really long time. The hummus - fresh and homemade with jalapeños added - SO nice. The pork belly melted in the mouth. All made with such care as well.
