Greasy.

I felt it was a bit pricey too be honest. This plate here was over a tenner. I know this because I had to go to the cash machine because they don’t do card payments. After withdrawing a tenner, I realised I had to try again and get another tenner out!

The staff were ‘ok’… the guy didn’t have much time for me when I was dithering how to make my choice under a tenner. It didn’t work, and the bill rang in at £11.60 or summin’ like that.

The sausages weren’t quality. Nor was any of it tbf.

The mushrooms were saturated with grease and the bread was probably a 49p loaf of white nothingness.

My tummy hurts a little bit even an hour or so later.

My advice would be...

Good food, but the new waitresses do not have a clue what is what, they act as if they don't want to be there and being made to feel I am an inconvenience to them. They need some short sharp lessons in life. Tables were filthy dirty when I went in. Took a while to get my whole order. In short, it would be a much better place if their youngsters got a rocket up...

Fantastic greasy spoon without the grease! Really great, thanks! UPDATE I said that 3 years ago and now stand even more so by what I said. It's a great place for a quick good meal, my current favourite is the omelette with all the fillings. Never fails to disappoint. I visit probably 3 times a week, every week. Well...
