Quality food and drinks in a tranquil garden setting. We thoroughly enjoyed our delicious afternoon teas and meals at the Old Barn Restaurant. As it was a special occasion, we booked the very comfortable and well-appointed Breeze House, which provided a lovely, relaxing, private dining experience.

Karin, the restaurant manager, was fantastic. From our first point of contact, she was so kind and helpful, ensuring that my daughter's strict Coeliac dietary requirements (gluten-free) were fully catered for with courtesy, understanding, and care. The menu is not limited, and there are plenty of delicious options to choose from.

From the moment we arrived, the courteous and friendly team at this lovely garden centre restaurant and coffee shop made us feel very welcome and ensured we were well looked after. Went on a Saturday, it was quite busy as expected. When ordering 3 meals were asked for however only 2 were put through. We weren't offered a reciept which is normally fine. When the meals were brought only 2 came, asked about the 3rd as it had been asked for, the server came back and said only 2 had been put through. Night apology and was definitely 3 ordered. Wasn't much point reordering as everyone else had there meal and would've been one person eating alone. The food however that did come was lovely, the meat was nice quality. Chips slightly overdone but not unedible. Seemed quite a tense atmosphere but staff were quite busy...

I had a wonderful experience enjoying afternoon tea yesterday. It was truly the best afternoon tea I've ever had. The sandwiches were fresh and generously filled, the scones were baked to perfection, and the cakes and Eton Mess were simply divine.

The staff were incredibly lovely, attentive, and accommodating, making our visit even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience—it was all perfect from start to finish.
