The Royal SpiceLand — Restaurant in Huntingdonshire

Food was okay, customer service was poor.

Whilst I didn’t make easy, placing two orders as I forgot a meal, the service I received from one employee was less than friendly.

When I arrived to collect my orders, the first things I said was my name and that there were two orders. The gentleman went I to the kitchen to get my orders. He returned with one, so I politely told him there was another order I was there to collect. He told me I had to pay him for it. I then told him I had already paid for them both and showed him the notifications on my phone confirming Apple Pay. He point at my first order and said that it was wrong because it was for a different amount then on the receipt he was holding. I tried to explain again that I had ordered twice after forgetting a meal in the first order. The reply I got was that I needed to pay him for the first order as I hadn’t paid. I pointed at the proof of payments again and explained that it had been paid and he walked away from me muttering into the kitchen. When he returned he rudely told me that I should have ordered it all in one go, or at least told him I was picking up more than one order, despite me having already told him whilst he appeared to be ignoring me.

It was all quite rude from this employee. They also didn’t send out updates on its status only that it was estimated to be 20 minutes. No confirmation that...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Royal Spiceland, and it was a truly fantastic Indian dining spot. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a stellar Indian dining experience.

The ambiance was warm and inviting, setting the stage for an exceptional Indian bistro experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure every aspect of our meal was perfect. The menu offered a superb Indian eatery selection with a variety of dishes that showcased the outstanding Indian cuisine.

We decided to go for the buffet, and I must say, it was an amazing Indian buffet with an excellent Indian buffet spread. Each dish was flavorful and fresh, leaving us thoroughly impressed. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste of each item was remarkable, making it a top-notch Indian restaurant in every sense.

Overall, The Royal Spiceland is a premier Indian food place that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a remarkable Indian dining venue. Whether you're a fan of Indian food or trying it for the first time, this place will...

I wish I could give negative stars even then that probably wouldn't be low enough, absolutely terrible place, food was terrible. One member from the group we went with has been ill for days since eating here has now been to the doctors for tests to see exactly what it is but definitely picked it up here. How are places like this still trading in this day and age? Its absolutely ridiculous. Avoid this place at all costs expensive tasteless with a general helping of food poisoning 🤮🤮🤮🤮

There are plenty of great reviews from actual restaurants that should thrive for many years to come and others that shouldn't be there at all.
