We visited Biagio's Tea Room for the first time as we were staying locally and the reviews were all very good. Firstly the staff were all great, friendly, attentive and happy which is always a good sign. The menu has plenty of options plus a specials board so plenty of choice is to be had. We ordered a chicken, bacon and mayo sandwich and a cheese scone. The sandwich came with a side salad which is beautifully presented and is very fresh and tasty plus tortilla chips, the sandwich was packed full of delicious filling and the scone was every bit as tasty according to my partner. The coffee is spot on and the custard cream cheesecake I devoured was truly delicious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality that you get as everything feels like it is completed with love and passion with a real attention to detail. My partner and I have visited many tea rooms, coffee shops and cafes in our time but we both agreed that Biagio's was as good as it gets as everything we tried today was faultless! A true Norfolk gem and it's a real pity we are only in the area for a week and that we live so far away. Highly recommend to anyone who may wish to visit! We visited for a second time and everything we had was every bit as good. We also tried the Gelato which is as good as it gets! The Coffee, Pistachio and Coconut flavours are all highly recommended. The third visit was every bit as good, I took a few pictures this time. Tuna salad sandwich, Tomato soup and a strawberry milkshake and all were delicious. I tried the Gelato again but I wolfed it down and totally forgot to take a picture, but it was every bit as good. I must add that the couple who run Biagio's are so welcoming and friendly as well especially as they have the patience to listen to me...
Read moreMiss this little gem, at your peril ! I took my mum to Norfolk for a 5 day break, 3rd to 7th April and we stopped for a cuppa here before our last stop at Holt. We wished our timings were better for a meal, but I had a latte and mum had a pot of tea. My little dog, Bobby, was made a fuss of and was most welcome at the front of the Tea Room. Anyway, we timed our departure from Holt the following Monday so that we would get to Biagio's for lunchtime. The welcome was genuine again. We both had the soup with a toasted sandwich - both delicious 😋 and I had the scone jam & cream. The scones had been warmed - all I can say is, order it! Try it for yourself. Biagio's Tea Room is about 1 hour 49 minutes from my house just outside Lincoln, and I would consider taking my mum out for the day (&Bobby, obvs🐶) for lunch. I didn't get the lady's name, but thank you for making a treat, petfect! I gave you my vote and I hope you win the award. You...
Read moreWe didn’t attend this place intentionally (we were aiming for the well reviewed pub next door) however we’re glad we did, it’s within a lovely little village and the layout is quite deceivingly big within the cafe. On entry there is a wonderful stand of cakes/pastries which look to die for in appearance alone. Anyway we sat down and looked at the menu and everything was a price of what you’d expect which is medium to high end however what I wasn’t expecting was how generous the portion sizes were.
This place is lovely with clearly Passionate staff, would happily visit...
