An absolutely delightful historical quaint atmospheric Tea Rooms. The Cobbles Tea Room in Kins Lynn is really worth a visit if you are ever in the area. The staff are very pleasant & happy to chat demands allowing. Service was excellent. There is a good range of loose tea coffees & the cakes look fabulous. My sister in law & I stumbled across them by way of a happy accident & very pleased that we did. It was one of the best cream teas that we’ve had & if we are ever that way again we will definitely pop back. Well done Cobbles Tea Room & staff

Such a wonderful find, a traditional tea rooms so rare to find these days, in the heart of Kings Lynn. Family run, very welcoming and such a lovely Tea Room fitted out perfectly. Has a beautiful charm, very much what you would have seen in Upstairs downstairs or in To the Manor Born. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished here. Very tasty homemade cakes and traditional English Breakfast Tea. Although a huge choice of others like Coffee and Latte. Thank you. I can highly recommend it here!

The restaurant was quiet the day we went because the weather was appalling. The ladies were really welcoming and really didn’t rush us. We had a delay in a member of our party arriving and they were really patient. The food was delicious. It was more pricier than other places I have been to for afternoon tea but as it was for a belated 50th birthday treat we splurged that little bit more.

I had by pre booked a table and afternoon tea after hearing good things around the town. Well 2 stars is being nice.

I agree with other reviews don't expect good service. Staff don't care.

Upon booking I told the staff on the phone of 2 allergies imagine the shock when the afternoon tea arrived with one of the allergies and the staff member sighed when I told her.

Before we even sat down the same staff member snapped "you get tea or coffee which do you want"

We went for tea. It was interesting that we wasn't given an option of tea selection available but the table behind us with afternoon tea were offered a selection of tea to choose from.

We spent far too long trying to get one of the 10 staff members attention for more tea but they was not bothered.

Food is bang average staff are rude.

First...

If you’re new to this venue and not lah de dah and uppity - do not expect to find a welcoming service here. I thought I would enjoy this venue as something hot to drink and a quick bite to eat. The lady on the till was talking to customers who were standing talking to her. Although she stopped to answer my question for coffee, rather than getting asked if it was for sit in with a bite to eat, It was immediately assumed I wanted take away. £3.30 for a take away coffee? Rip off. Imagine the price of the sandwiches in that context, probably about £6 or £7 for something you could make at home For half the price!

This is and was my first...
