Costa — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

A bit of a mediocre experience, nothing badly wrong, just a couple of small changes they could make to improve the experience.

When ordering a large tea sitting in, it comes in a takeaway cup, not what I exspected when sitting in with my friends, it felt cheap and I felt unthought of, a simple fix would be to have a large mug or cup to accommodate the tea, or offer a pot of tea at the point of ordering, neither of these options were given at the point of ordering, nore was it mentioned that it would be served in a takeaway cup despite not taking it way.

When I mentioned I'm eating in, could I have it in a cup or mug they looked and me blankly as if I should already know and said we don't have large cups. And that was it.

I find the price of the small snack food in there are also getting very expensive, most of the small cakes are nearing £3 now, I don't wish to sound cheap but these are the sort of cakes that cost 4 for £1 in a supermarket, I think closer to the £2 mark would be a better pill to swallow for the customer, and you may possibly sell more items.

VERY RUDE I am £11.81 change short she's said it was my problem and was talking about me when I left to other customers when I came back for more sugar she says loud and clear "oh he's back" she is a MANAGER and how in the world can you speak to customers like that .she was also moaning at me that I need to sort out my money cause I clearly gave her a £20 pound note and she was accusing me of only giving her a £10 . The place was too noisy for a conversation. They have music playing far too loud, and the music was mediocre at that. Those who were in our group struggled to hear each other, and combined with the clatter of drinks being made and the unforgiving decor meant it isn't somewhere I'll be visiting again. Table service is nonexistent, so go elsewhere if you expect to be served or have a disability meaning you can't carry a tray. I'm sure they're pleasant enough and only doing what they were trained to do, but the training needs to be improved.
