Very welcoming and wonderful atmosphere. I was greeted instantly and my order taken. The tables are nicely set out and very clean. I didn't have to wait long before my food arrived. (Chef's special chilli burger and chips with a cup of tea) Well what can i say about the food, it was cooked to perfection. As i finished the chef came and spoke to me and asked if it was ok. As she had made it all from scratch and with her own recipes. Which considering the quality of the food I've received was not surprising, because you can always tell if it's cooked fresh. The chef (a lovely lady) even recommended the millionaire shortbread she had made that morning. Again nothing but perfection. I hope the pictures speak for them self. When it came to paying i was suprise it all came to alot less then i expected. Highly recommended to anyone who likes home cook foods.

We have always popped in here when in North Norfolk and have always been pleased with the offering. I guess it must be under new management. The menu items are now eye wateringly expensive. We had the smoked salmon sandwich on sourdough at £12.50 was it ? Rather lacking in smoked salmon, and although the great doorstop of bread was generous, it actually wasn't very nice. No sign of the lemon mayonnaise it was meant to come with. The salad was very nice. The tea was weak as well water. If you are going to charge £3 for tea at least pop a tea bag in it. My matcha latte was a bit odd but it serves me right for ordering such a daft thing. .

Friendly service but obviously didn’t understand our request for the fat on the bacon to be well cooked, got the distinct feeling that this food was pre-cooked and simply microwaved before being put on my plate. Hash brown was very rubbery didn’t feel like it had seen a frying pan, so for £8.50. No I’m sorry I don’t think I’ll be coming back for a latte at £3.50 for a long time now will not be returning to good luck on your journeys folks

This used to be a vibrant hub for locals, holidaymakers, campers and walkers. Not anymore. Maybe it's because of the difficulties of 2020, but the formerly fantastic and welcoming Deepdale Cafe has new management and is now a bog (sub) standard caff.

Stark decor with cold, mostly bare white walls and the dining tables painted a rather off-putting shade of blue.

Menu very limited unless you are obsessed with burgers (don't be fooled. The menus shown in most photos here are from previous years) although vegan options are listed. Overpriced, poor quality food.

Despite having a reasonable coffee machine on the premises, I was served a stonkingly bitter flat white (£3!) and the Norfolk breakfast (£10 I think!!!!) was just awful. Served less than 5 minutes after ordering strongly suggests mostly precooked ingredients, especially since they were all tepid, except for the single egg served fried or scrambled only. Forget asking for poached as I did and was flatly refused. When a cafe can't or won't do something as simple as poach an egg, it can't be good. Sliced bread from a packet, a single average size and average tasting sausage next to a stale, cold undercooked hash brown. Shudder.

Maybe that's why there was only one other person in the whole establishment at breakfast time! Two years ago this place was buzzing.

In a county loaded with fantastic produce from land to sea and at a premium site on the North Norfolk coast road, next to an acclaimed and fantastically run camp site, the current incarnation of Deepdale Cafe should be WAY better, especially when you consider the superior menu and friendly service that was previously available.

The prices simply do not justify the bad quality of the food. I left feeling sad at the change and miffed that the new management are riding on the pricing coat tails and better quality of service provided by previous management.

Other establishments along the coast road will get my custom from now on unless there's a serious...

Mixed review for this experience.

Breakfast ingredients were of very good quality, bacon, sausage and hash browns.

Avoid Poached Eggs if you want them cooked to perfection, as they are more like a fried egg cooked in water.

Coffee is very good quality beans!

Downside -

We had to wait over 40 minutes for our order to arrive, it was then missing additional items that were ordered with main order, these came out shortly afterwards, we then asked where the rest of the order was and were advised that we’d had everything . This leaving us a little disappointed at paying £4 for toast and preserves. (1 x Slice of toast and a pot of Jam)

The front of house staff were very apologetic and you could see they were embarrassed that they had to face the customers whilst the chef/cook was in the kitchen.

This could be an amazing little cafe with some direction for the staff to follow as it was like a ship with no captain.

Tables not promptly cleared and cleaned, people waiting for food when it wasn’t very busy,, which considering there was 3 front of house staff that were not busy could have easily been avoided on my personal opinion.

Both of us work in the hospitality industry and understand how hard it is in the sector and how with a few tweaks this place would be...

Stayed at the campsite so the cafe being next door was ideal. We arrived Wednesday morning & had a lovely breakfast; french toast - delightful! Husband had a tradtional breakfast which was good & the coffees were great. The 2 lads serving were friendly. Perfect....we thought. Visited again on Sunday lunch time & I ordered a chicken ceaser salad - I only wished I'd have taken a photo!! It was very disappointing! It didn't even look appetising, it basically had a few salad leaves with chicken & a few slices of french bread toasted. I struggled to find the parmesan. I did complain & the waitress apologised & returned it to the chef as she was unsure what to do. The chef did not come out from the kitchen & added a few more salad leaves. I just felt really disappointed. £10 for lettuce & chicken. My husbands club sandwich was just okay. To be fair I wanted to give 2 1/2 stars because the previous meal was good...
