Greggs — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

The staff in this shop are rather rude and unwelcoming. On this instance the person at the till was in the middle of a conversation with another staff member whilst serving me, did not even look at me, try to form conversation or acknowledge me beyond asking for my money and on the whole seemed rather sharp and disinterested in the customer. Not the first time this has happened, much prefer the other Greggs round the corner from here however due to COVID it isn't always open...

One member of staff is always miserable and rude here. Never says hi after you say hi, never smiles, doesn't even tell me when the transaction is complete. One time my card kept declining but instead of telling me try this or that, she just stood there avoiding eye contact instead of helping. Had to put away some of my order to be able to afford it in cash instead. Using other greggs round corner...

Crowded shop, only one person serving and having to dispense coffee and take payment which meant that after 10 minutes, yes 10 minutes, in which the queue hardly moved at all I dumped my prospective purchases and went to get sandwiches from Sainsbury's instead. Greggs are incredibly successful and can obviously afford to treat customers with relative contempt. I will not be bothering to go...
