Greggs — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Just visited this Greggs for a meal deal. Firstly they tried to overcharge me, it should have been £7.50 for 2 meal deals & she charged me £7.64, when I asked why, she said it was because of the sugar tax even though I’d got Coke Zero. She then asked for someone to help her amend it on the till. I’d paid with a £10 note & obviously needed £2.50 change, I’d been given £2.36. But instead of taking the 36p & swapping for a 50p (the obvious thing to do), they gave me £7.64 back in silly little change & I had to then repay the £7.50?? I told them I only needed to swap for the 50p & was told that it was too confusing to do it that way??? They made it so much more confusing. They were rude and grumpy when I tried to explain how simple it was. Even my 10 year old son could understand how easy it could have been to just swap the change. This Greggs is located on the edge of Pierpoint shopping center in kings Lynn. The store itself is rather compact but don't let that put you off. It is well stocked with a range of hot and cold food and drinks to satisfy most people. There is limited free parking to the front and there is also the large carparks to one side that serve the Pierpoint center. Access for wheelchair users is reasonably easy however the shop itself has a large display in the middle of the floor making it a little challenging in anything other than and standard wheelchair. A lady came in with a double buggy when I was in there and she struggled to get round. The food was of a good quality and the hot drinks were also satisfying. Tried to redeem a valid code for a free sausage roll just a moment ago at around 9:28. I mentioned I've got a code to scan and in the end the staff member said it didn't work and told me it was expired even though I just claimed it as I get it once a week as part of my banking app reward. I was offered no resolution by the staff member, not even an apology for it not working when I hadn't claimed the free item yet. Appalling service, definitely avoiding this branch if I can because compared to other branches, they're not invested enough in a customer's experience.
