It is very easy to critique somewhere as simple as Greggs. As with all private sector businesses a lot of people work very hard to get a place good enough to open and stay consistent. Managers do large unpaid shift. Colleuages work unequally and get paid for the same work but to the customer that does not matter . My experience at greggs Downham has been at the very least lacklustre. The site itself is very clean well organised and relatively well replenished( it is worth noting that there are gaps but this is to be expected on a Sunday trade) the customer service here from the server was non existant and even huffed a few times which is unnecessary and not acceptable . Bare in my mind I ordered my food nearly instantly from what stock I could see in was available . This essentially makes the job as easy as taking payment and collecting the right items .Poor.
