Marleys — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Only go to Marley a few times a year , food has always been good and so has service. Went today and stood outside waiting for it to open. 9.30am Others turned up and were waiting as well. Big sign outside indicating it was closed located on the chair. We could see movement inside yet despite the fact myself and other were knocking on the door to hopefully ask when they would finally open. They couldn't be bothered to answer the door. Nor could they bothered to put a notice outside to say. 'Sorry opening late today' Stood outside for 25 minutes. Left and drove to castle rising tea rooms instead. Was served instantly and sat in the garden in the sun. A better result than trying to support the local cafe.

Businesses are about dependability. If you don't open when you say you do, or can't bothered to keep customers informed with a simple note on the door you will quicky loose custom and word of mouth gets around.

I was told later by my father in-law that he had heard it had gone down hill lately. Well if you don't open what do you expect!

What a super little Cafe!! Spontaneously decided to have a quick coffee at Marleys, but turned out to be a breakfast too! It's got a great atmosphere, priced for what you get - not the most budget of places, but you certainly get the quality you pay for here.

The staff appear to be cheerful and happy to help.

The seating is spacious with enough room to have a good conversation without hearing everyone else's, the decor is delightful, lots of random quirky items.

Food. Sausage bap with fried onions. You get a generous portion, with a good choice of condiments. Priced for quality and quantity! The iced caramel latte was delicious!

Menu- Catering for breakfast and larger meals! Full English to sausage and mash/pies, toasties, nachos etc!

Will definitely be back in the near future to try other items on the...

My wife booked Marley's for a Birthday breakfast with the extended family. Easily looked after 15 of us for breakfast. We were all greeted as we came in and shown to our tables. Drinks were ordered and brought out in good time. Our lovley server took our food orders and brought the food out a table at a time. I had the waffles, bacon, egg, sausage and maple syrup. Believe me you won't leave hungry. Lovely light waffles served with local bacon and sausages. We stayed for a good hour and a half and can't wait to go back.... I even got a brownie as a birthday gift which...
