This McDonald's has become a massive let down, I live about 10 minutes on foot away from here so it is my go-to restaurant when I'm out with my mates. I have been there twice this week and multiple times in the past. going through the drive through is such a drag, you wait about 20 minutes to even be given your food and they still forget half your order. Having gone in again on Thursday I found there was only me, a friend and two other small groups of people (a family of 4 and a group of 3 girls), it was unusually empty. I ordered and waited around 20-25 minutes for my food to get to me, a long wait for such a small order and such an empty restaurant. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, chips and a sprite, went home to eat and found there was no bacon in my bacon cheeseburger. You had ONE job. I went back again yesterday to eat in around 6pm since it was freezing out, I will admit it was very busy inside. I ordered my food and sat down, the wait wasn't TOO long. This time I ordered chicken nuggets, chips, BBQ dip, and a hot chocolate. I got given my full order however I got given ketchup instead of BBQ. I wasn't too bothered until I began to drink my hot chocolate, not only was it cold, it was colder than room temperature, like it had been sat outside for hours, I was disgusted, didn't even bother to complain, just ordered a sprite, ate and left. Im not entirely sure why they are struggling so much but they need to work on their service. luckily for them their staff are polite and well mannered and I will continue to go there since they do sometimes get it right. But seriously? A cold HOT chocolate and a BACON cheeseburger...
Read moreThis is the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. It's basically a vending machine but without the convenience and efficiency, and with less atmosphere. We'd been in earlier in the week (it's the only drive through restaurant on our route) and had to wait quite a long time but assumed it was a one-off, but I guess not! Both times there were no staff to be found and it was so cold that every customer in there was huddled in a coat. I assume they crank up the air con to prevent ageing while you endure the interminable wait for your food. This evening every customer in the restaurant while we were there waited between 20-25 minutes for their takeaway orders, us included. We ordered a big Mac meal and a mcchicken sandwich meal and had to wait 20 minutes in this icy box of a restaurant. No staff on the tiny counter so people were literally having to wait in a queue to complain about the wait, and to return their food which was invariably wrong. One man bought back his burger because it was wrong and it took them so long to fix it that the rest of his meal went stone cold! We finally got our order - with no apology for the wait - and checked what was in the bag. It all looked ok, but when we actually came to eat it they had put a mccrispy in the mcchicken sandwich box! We couldn't spare the hours to get it sorted out so I just had to eat it. The worst McDonald's takeaway experience I have ever had the misfortune to experience, an absolute disaster of a restaurant. If you like your fast food slow, wrong and cold then this is the...
Read moreWe went in the drive through earlier, we always go here and have never ever had a problem before. Sadly, one of our burgers were wrong and unfortunately we’re not given a receipt, despite it being on the system and calling to complain and my partner disputing this within the restaurant, we spoke to the “manager” and were essentially told we were lying. However, I would have expected a better response such as a refund or a replacement, I believe this isn’t how you deal with customers, as that is not professional in any way! And anyone that works in retail/ customer service would understand that. We will not be returning due to how unprofessional and narrow minded this person was. Which has left us feeling very disappointed as “ the customer is always right “ if there is a way you can listen to the intercom etc, the conversation will be there! We received two burgers, with the correct labels on YES! However, upon ordering the Philly cheese stack, no pickles does NOT mean a completely plain burger! Just admit that you were wrong! Check the CCTV all you like! We haven’t denied the labels by any means, we have both tried to explain the incident but, you simply will not acknowledge...
