Outstanding Click and Collect Experience at McDonald's, Hardwick Retail Park

I recently had an outstanding experience using the Click and Collect service at McDonald's in Hardwick Retail Park, and I am thrilled to share my 5-star review. From the efficient service to the exceptional food quality, everything about my experience was top-notch.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a wonderful and charming slightly older lady who delivered the food to my car. She wore glasses and had a fantastic sense of humor, making the interaction delightful. Her helpfulness and warm demeanor added an extra touch to the overall experience.

Now, let's talk about the food - it was simply phenomenal. Every item I ordered was fresh and piping hot, even after I drove home. The attention to detail and the commitment to quality were evident in every bite. From the juicy burgers to the perfectly crispy fries, McDonald's exceeded my expectations.

I must commend the McDonald's team for their dedication to providing a seamless Click and Collect experience. The food was prepared promptly and accurately, and the delivery to my car was efficient and convenient. It is evident that McDonald's prioritizes customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience.

I highly recommend trying the Click and Collect service at McDonald's in Hardwick Retail Park. The exceptional service provided by the delightful and helpful lady, along with the outstanding quality of the food, made my experience truly memorable. Whether you're craving a classic Big Mac or want to try their delicious chicken options, you can trust that McDonald's will deliver a satisfying meal.

In conclusion, my first experience with McDonald's Click and Collect service at Hardwick Retail Park was exceptional. The slightly older lady who delivered the food was amazing, adding a personal touch to the service. The food itself was outstanding, demonstrating freshness and quality. If you're looking for a convenient and enjoyable fast-food experience, McDonald's is the place to...

Sadly not five stars because have used this McDonalds site numerous times and on most occasions it’s anything but fast food, and when you do get it, it’s far from hot, and the fries tend to be covered in too much salt. Also recently (daytime, Feb 2025) bought a couple of McFlurries, both of which resembled a melted milkshakes than ice creams! Have started to find the Pullover Roundabout/West Lynn site to be better, which is only a mile or two away. If you want your food order ‘quick’ I’d suggest pre-ordering on the app, and picking up from an order bay, but even then we’ve come away with semi-warm food…. 😔

Additional comment, having visited at 1:15am on a Saturday morning (Mar 2025) - Wow, what an absolutely terrible experience!! Pre-ordered on the app, got to the site and waited by the ordering totem pole... and waited.... and waited... and waited... only for me to call out to see if anyone was there, to then be told "I'll be with you in a minute!" (sharp, with no apology for the long wait!). Police car then pulls up at the other ordering totem pole to be served straight away/before me! The McDs guy then comes to me and asks me (in a tone as if I was putting him out!) what I'd like to order (obviously totally unaware of my app order). Explained I'd odered via the app and then get directed to the first window, and on towards the collection window, where both the Police car and I wait for ages for our orders (long enough for us both to turn our car engines off, and thinking the food was being freshly cooked). When I got the food, and parked up to eat, I found the fries were cold and limp, and the Big Mac was just warm, with the salad inside it looking very sad and sorry, as if it had been left out all day! Worst McDonalds experience ever!! Given the time it took to get the food I expected it to be crisp, fresh and hot - Won't be returning to that McDonalds site ever again! It would've been quicker to visit to McDonalds a couple of miles away, at Pullover Roundabout (A17/A47/West Lynn), which is also owned by the same...

Dear sirs,

I write this letter to express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had at the McDonald's restaurant 1 Campbells Meadow, Hardwick Rd, King's Lynn PE30 4YN on 05/06/2023 time between 3:35 pm to 4:30 pm .

As a loyal and long time customer I was extremely disappointed with the way I was treated during my last visit.

I arrived at the establishment with the intention of buying food to go and eating in my car, as I usually do. I had my dog with me, who was properly accommodated in an animal bag, a practice that complies with health and safety regulations.

To my surprise and dismay, I was denied service simply because I had my pet with me. Not only was this action discriminatory and disrespectful, it also caused great embarrassment in front of other customers, including children present.

Pets are an integral part of many families and as such deserve to be treated with due respect. While I understand the need to maintain a clean and safe environment, I do not see how a properly restrained pet could interfere with my ability to order to-go.

I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure that such incidents do not happen again. Clear communication of restaurant policies and adequate staff training to deal with similar situations would be good starting points.

I hope my experience serves as an opportunity to improve the quality of service at McDonald's and promote a more welcoming environment for all customers, regardless of whether they are accompanied by their pets.

Yours...

This is a review of the coffee pricing vs. quality, compared to other such providers while one is on the road: gas stations/ Costa automatic machines/ Starbucks, etc. - Travelling a lot in the last months, I came to the conclusion that, while on the road, with limited time for getting & enjoying a coffee, the best accessible & affordable coffee that I found all around, was at McDonald's. --> Again, the 5 star rating is not reflecting the quality of McDonald's coffee alone, but it's a combination of all the factors that I consider important, given the circumstances: ✓ Location accessibility - easy to find pretty much everywhere; ✓ Pricing (single shot Espresso varies from 0.78 - 0.98£, while a double shot Espresso varies from 0.98 - 1.20£). In Comparison, a Costa machine - inside the gas station - offers their single shot Espresso starting from ~2£. Same story and even worse for Starbucks, who would charge for a double Espresso about 4.5£. That's the maximum that I encountered for such drink and that is a lot! ✓ Quality. Having tried different such providers (not only the ones mentioned above, I came to the conclusion that it's not much difference between them, regardless of their pricing, therefore I underline again why the 5 star rating is granted. An addition here is the milk shake (chocolate is my favorite), that I usually buy together with the coffee! 🙂 - Can't make any statement about the food, as I never ate in/from McDonald's facilities. Cheers!

A convenient stop off on the A47 on the way to Norwich or King's Lynn. It's got a self-service machine or a couple of normal counters. On a sunny day, there's a few seats outside and a decent-sized car park if you'd prefer to eat in your car. Toilets were clean and there were even balloons (pictured) for the kids. The food was fine (it's McDonald's standard) and the service was quick enough. Overall, it's a fine place to stop off (especially that the diner nearby is closed).

Just placed a mobile order, All paid for, Walk in and showed an error, Spoke to a manager and was told they didn’t have one of the items on the order which I wasn’t annoyed about stuff like that can happen but refused to even get my other items and showed them it’d been paid for but still wouldn’t give me my stuff and was extremely blunt and rude, Simply wouldn’t bother with them, Plain rude and not helpful
