Firstly I would like to say that the food is really good in fact my favourite, I called today at 12:05 to book a table for me and my wife and daughter and I spoke to the gentleman who I know as the boss and told him that I would like to reserve a table at 12:30 if possible and he said thatās fine which was great. We arrived at 12:30 and I said one to the gentleman and I explained that I booked a table for us but you did not ask for a name and we are regular customers that know his lovely wife and have been going to their restaurant since it first opened near the Saturday market Place before it moved. Anyway he directed us to our table and we ordered our regular same order. My daughter needed the toilet so I took her to the loo, on my return I noticed my wife was very frustrated and upset. I asked what wrong as she stated the the owner asked her again if we booked the table and did do three times very rudely in front of a shop full of customers as if to call us a liar⦠after my wife told me I walked over to the owner and showed him the call I made to his shop and I spoke to him directly. He waved me away and I so I proceeded to sit down and I noticed there was more customers at the door waiting to come in and they must have thought we had just stolen their seating. This made my wife very uncomfortable and we choose to leave and give them the table and in doing this we was asked never to return. We are just in a state of shock that he can treat his honest customers like this is beyond me. Very...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDropped in here by chance. The staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. My wife and I ordered vegetarian food, a veggie meze and a Haloumi burger. Both dished were very good. My burger was served with roasted peppers and aubergine and came with fries and a salad. The fries were fresh, hot and crisp. The salad was well presented with fresh crisp leaves, perfect tomatoes and gherkins with a dressing. This was probably the best haloumi burger I have ever had! My wife's meze was also excellent, good cross section fresh and tasty. We had a desert as well. Creme Brulee was superb, fresh fruits and a crisp top. Chocolate brownie was very rich and chocolaty. I am disabled and in a wheelchair. It was tricky to get in but they helped. There is a rail which I could use to get in. The staff moved chairs and made us welcome. A really lovely dining experience. The only negative old be that the atmosphere, decor could be better but I'm struggling to find a negative. Would reccomend...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWeāve been coming to KL for many years and although weāve seen the restaurant in the High Street, itās never appealed. How very wrong we were! When we were last here in July we noticed the new one on Saturday Market Place and said weād try it next visit. What an experience it was. Super menu with the longest list of starters weāve ever seen. Extensive choice of mains as well. We chose filo parcels to share as a starter and the chicken skewers and pan fried chicken as mains followed by pistachio baklava to share .All were superb and very generous portions. Superb wine list. Very simple with just 3 choices of each colour, no country mentioned and at a reasonable price for differing sizes. Excellent service , very friendly staff. Everything at a very fair price. I canāt praise enough. Not surprised itās 4.8. Who on earth dragged it down 0.2! Looking forward to coming again in July on our next Norfolk trip. Keep up the great work and...
