The best deli and bakery in and around Lynn, we don't really have anything like them unless you go further into North Norfolk or Norwich. Their food is fresh and homemade which is nice to be able to come by and you can definitely tell in the quality. A lovely to treat as always. Yes more expensive than Greggs or other high street bakeries, but you get what you pay for so can justify the treat.
I saw Frankies review, and each to their own, but they only seems to give 1 star reviews-I mean who reviews Greggs one star? The Hero at Burnham is award winning and also only gave one star review so I'd take it with a pinch of salt. Given they reviewed a garage for their dream car being a mini cooper 2017, I don't think they are a person of deep thought. Norburys posted about the review and they didn't even make a comment when in the building which...
Read moreHaving done some research about cafes before visiting King’s Lynn for the first time, I decided Norbury’s looked good based on the photographs and reviews.
The interior was lovely and the seating comfortable. However, the food and coffee were below expectations. The coffee was quite weak (though presented nicely) and the brioche bun was very dry (it had a cardboard texture) - making me think that it was maybe a day old rather than freshly baked that day. Consequently, it wasn’t a pleasant eating experience and I wouldn’t return. It was also disappointing that there wasn’t an option to have an egg with the sausage and brioche bun I ordered as the dry bread to sausage ratio meant it was mostly bread. £3.20 for a latte seemed a bit steep too (even taking inflation into consideration) - especially as it wasn’t a...
Read moreA favorite stop when visiting King's Lynn for the fabulous scones and sausage rolls, absolutely amazing chocolate brownies, coffee, and the blood orange tea. It used to be a bit of a regular haunt when I worked in the town, and the shop was in Tower Street. The quality has never changed, and my bestie always gets excited when I arrive with takeaway treats from here! Always busy and clean, with good facilities. Plenty of tables, order at the counter, and await your treats. The staff are polite, helpful, and friendly. Takeaway is always an option, especially if you're full and don't want to miss out on cake. There's paid for parking nearby at the Tuesday Market Place, and it's no more than a 5-10 minute walk from the train and bus stations. I recommend you try Norburys for yourself, but be aware it can...
