Pizza Express — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

I recently had a delightful dining experience at Pizza Express in Kings Lynn, and I can’t wait to share my thoughts! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, with a warm and contemporary decor that set the perfect tone for our evening.

Our server, Ethan, was exceptional. His friendly demeanor and attentive service made us feel right at home. He took the time to explain the menu options and offered great recommendations, which we really appreciated.

To start, we ordered the halloumi bites, and they were absolutely divine! The crispy exterior paired with the soft, warm halloumi was a match made in heaven. They were perfectly seasoned and served with a delicious dip that complemented the flavor beautifully.

For the main course, I opted for the cannelloni pasta. It was a generous portion filled with rich, savory ingredients that left me craving more. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was bursting with flavor, making each bite a true delight.

We also indulged in a couple of cocktails, which were expertly crafted. They were refreshing and added a fun twist to our meal. The balance of flavors was spot on, and they paired wonderfully with our food.

Visited on 1st Nov for a meal with the family. It was our first time dining in at Pizza Express. First impression, what a cosy and warm place! Staff were very welcoming and big thanks for letting us in half an hour early before our booked slot! (brownie points ⭐️)

Service was absolutely fantastic! Our waitress, Sandra, was great. An error had occurred on the handset device which meant we had to redo our orders but she remembered most of it & she was very informative when we asked about portions/serving sizes. Order was spot on and no issues - this is a credit to Sandra ensuring she has double checked with us.

The restaurant was full but we didn’t long until ours got served. Fresh & delicious!

Overall, a really nice ambiance compared to the Peterborough branch. It was a welcoming-vibe, friendly and helpful staff.

Location: Parking wasn’t an issue, loads to choose from. NCP Church Street or Saturday Market Place and only a short walk away.

We came here for a quick dinner after spending the day moving house. It was far from quick. We waited an hour for our pizza without and initial apology or even an offer of a free drink even though they were long finished by the time our food came. Our waitress had at least 15 tables while the rest of the restaurant had several waiters. This seemed like poor management. Naturally there was an offer but you should be able to serve and cover all tables if the restaurant is full. When we did receive an apology we were told that it's luck of the draw and it depends how many people are in when you arrive. That's not really how a large chain should work. To boot, the pizza was not that great and could have done with longer in the oven and I noticed a lady on another table returned her main as it was served to her stone cold. She got up and returned it as there was no one around to mentiom this to. The conclusion? Only go if there is no one else in there to guarantee some decent service.
