We visited the crab hut today, as we have many times before and enjoyed the superb fresh crab baguettes we usually order one dressed crab and two brown baguettes with just crab meat and nothing else so not to spoil the flavour. Unfortunately today the fresh dressed crab was excellent as usual but seemed short of white meat. The baguettes I had today one plain prawn was crab hut at its best unfortunately the other baguette I had was filled with a brown mixture clearly not 100% fresh crab meat there was no coral and no chunks of white crab meat the mixture was to dark even for well mixed crab meat. When eating the texture was slightly watery over salty it was as if the fresh crab had run out and a commercially produced product substituted I’ve been here many times before and will continue to come back to sample the outstanding fresh crab the hut is known for. I dress my own crabs and have done so for many years and know what I bought today was not what the crab hut sells. If they run out of crab when busy don’t use a poor substitute stick with fresh tell customers they’ve sold out, offer an alternative. Don’t sell what I had today as fresh and risk loosing a...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Best Seafood Ever! Absolutely the best seafood I've ever had! The Crab Hut in Brancaster serves delicious, fresh seafood based on an old family recipe — you can truly taste the difference. There was a queue of 20 people when we arrived, but it moved quickly, and the friendly, welcoming staff made the wait pleasant. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, and there’s a big selection of drinks to go with your meal. A must-visit if you love seafood and authentic coastal charm!

Every time I visit Norfolk, I make sure to stop by. Additionally, a wonderful coastal walk starts right from here, making it even...

Lovely fresh local seafood - how can you get that wrong? Well, others in the area do, so lets celebrate Letzers' Crab Hut. It's got just what you want to see - a little queue, a happy, friendly lady serving quickly with a smile, and locals in the queue for a work-day lunch... it's not just a tourist hole.

Importantly, the prices are reasonable, seafood is fresh and well prepared. No skimping on filling takeaway tubs. I cannot fault this hut... except it's so far from my home ! You can have a baguette made up FOR YOU with you choice of seafood ... a mixture if you want. And/or take home to eat...

An absolute experience! Affordable, quality food in a sublime environment. I tried the Crabhut Special - a mix of prawn, crab and crayfish at £6.50. They recommended their sauce and brown bread to go with it. The prawns may look bleached like Chinese crystal prawns, but they are fresh, sweet and briny. All three ingredients were fresh and sweet - tasted of the sea! Coupled with the gentle spring breeze and trill of the birds, this is an experience that surpasses many fancy restaurants that try so hard to manufacture.

Great little seafood hut selling fresh seafood. Just be prepared to queue for a while. There isn’t any seating but there is plenty of nearby parking so it’s a grab the food and eat in the car type of affair. All the seafood from the prawns to the crayfish was fresh and delicious. The highlight being the whelks served simply with pepper seasoning. Service was friendly and efficient, and the queue moved quickly. If you’re in the area or driving by it’s definitely worth a stop for a bite to eat.

I managed to visit this hut twice while I was on my holidays. I had a dressed crab, which was wonderfully tasty and had no shell pieces in the meat and a small tub of prawns. On the second visit I had a crab hut special brown roll, which had crab meat, crayfish and prawns. With salad AND sauce. The roll was generously filled that it enabled me to share it with my T shirt and the lurking (but well behaved) black headed gull 🙂
