The Filling Station — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

I go here regularly on my lunch break and try to eat in at least once a week. It is absolutely fantastic!

There is something for whatever you fancy with jacket potatoes, salads, rolls, sandwiches and soup. Everything is made on site as well including their delicious home baked cookies and cakes!

There are 2 menus to reflect the different prices for eating in or taking out but they are super flexible to make what you want by adding and taking some bits out so it's very personalised.

The interior is like no other and super funky with forest monkey wall paper and rainbow chandeliers so it really is one of a kind. That staff are always friendly and I haven't ever had my order taken down wrong or missed anything - even on the super busy lunch hour rush!

Definately worth a visit and nice to support a local tea room instead of a chain...

I love this place. Coming to back to Lynn often to take my mum out we often walk the square and end up here and I have never been disappointed. It may only be small but my mum who has a large walker always manages the customers are pleasant the staff are lovely and the peanut butter slices are to die for. You also get a decent cuppa. So if its a quick lunch on the go or a nice sit down in the warm give it a go, jacket potatoes sandwiches rolls and I nice well dressed side salad but make sure you leave me a peanut butter slice many delicious cakes etc available. Well done Kings Lynn definitely a little gem...

I went here yesterday after reading great reviews and was not disappointed. My mum and me are Coeliac and explained this to them. They where very helpful and accommodated us easily even though was rush hour in there. The staff are lovely and friendly. We had a lovely pot of tea there and the food was delicious. I had a brie, cranberry and bacon on gluten free bread not toasted and was delicious. I did get food envy and my mother's chilli on jacket as was amazing! All come with side salad and dressing. Lovely local business not expensive and great for lunch. I will come back on my next visit to...
