The Hub Café — Restaurant in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

As I had a long wait to see the consultant in AEC, we were given a beeper to let us know when to go back. We decided to visit the Hub for some lunch. I had cauliflower cheese, my husband had a cheese salad sandwich, crisps and a tea and coffee. The bill was £9.05.I had just tasted my meal, it was cold and there was no sign of cheese. I was going to take it back when my beeper went off for me to go back to clinic. We scraped my meal into a take away box, got cardboard cups for our drinks and returned to clinic. I was really disappointed with the food and will certainly not return to the hub. Future visits will include a packed lunch...

Fantastic!!! For what it is. A family member is seriously ill and about fifteen members were at the hospital. It is a place we could be together away from the ward and get a decent cup of coffee and something to eat. There was no pressure to vacate the tables and we were there all day while taking turns to go to the ward (which did have a family area with room for about seven). After almost 24 hours waiting around at the hospital and bring very hungry we decided to give the hub a try. The lady serving had no people skills.made no eye contact .looked miserable and served and walked off with no conversation or acknowledgement. The food serving areas looked cluttered and grubby and the jacket potatoes we had were Luke warm....
