Had a meal here service was appalling, unfortunately. Food okay but the staff didn't want to be serving. There was 5 of us 1 menu, too much trouble to bring more when asked. Food came wanted vinegar & told that all the bottles nicked over the weekend so given sachets. Really. Not all plates removed at end of meal. The tub of sauces left for our coffee & pudding. I don't want Tom sauce then. Had to ask for bill girl brought it over then left we got shouted at from the bar to pay there, even though I'd made it clear we would like to sit & pay no niceties from the young lady that could we pay at bar, please. We left a reluctant tip. Don't think I'll venture there again. I'd travelled a long way toget treated as if we were an inconvenience. Told my girlfriend who lives local & she has been for coffee & totally agrees, poor poor service. What a great find! A fantastic range of beers from all over the world and all presented in a fantastic new space (opened May 2021) both the indoor and the outdoor areas here are well laid out and the indoor area is particularly cleverly put together with beer keg lamp shades and beer memorabilia and signage from breweries across the globe. Anyway, on to the offerings! The beers are from all corners of the globe, some you'll recognise and plenty that you won't. Speak to the staff they are friendly and knowledgeable and will help you find something to tickle your taste buds. The food menu looks impressive, I've only sampled one item, but if the rest of the menu matches the quality of the pastrami sandwich I had, it will be worth a visit for the food alone, never mind the beer. First visit for Sunday lunch 12;30pm. 6 of us had starters & mains. Food tasted really good in general & nicely presented. Would have preferred it a bit hotter & beef was a bit chewy but chicken was tender & veggies good. Waiting staff friendly & polite. Given 4 stars as waited 45 minutes after finishing our mains and couldn’t seem to attract any staff to clear plates. (We were seated in the function room on side). Would have liked dessert but we were limited on time and they couldn’t do takeaway for dessert (we did ask).
