I make sure that the music is not excessively loud, by using sound meters to check periodically through the evenings. I also am mindful of the noise level as it gets later in the evenings. I personally sweep up all glass and trash and cigarette butts every morning and night from the immediate street and sidewalk all around my pub; even further afield when it's glass or bottles FROM my pub. I take very seriously any feedback from my neigbors. I have even tried to stop customers from hanging around the alley that leads to where you live.    Read moreIf you're a regular, you get served fast. Everyone else gets to wait - even people who shout over your shoulder get served first because they're "known". Edit: I didn't want to mention that there was a fight in the pub which caused an ambulance to be called. But apparently this is a regular occurrence. The same people cause the fights and the same people are let off.
